The location is fabulous, centrally located and near to nearly everything you would want to see in Florence. We visited with our 8 and 5 year olds and they loved the carousel, pastry shops, and activity on the Plaza, which is right outside of the door. The Duomo is just a skip away. Our apartment was comfortable with two rooms and a decent view out to a side street off the Plaza. The master bedroom was spacious and comfortable. The main room was a little more crowded, but the two single beds wo.

The apartment was spacious for 2 people (my 11 yr old granddaughter and me). Having to go first to Hotel Lanzi did not present a problem for us and I particularly liked the fact that, having paid for the flat when we first arrived, we were not required to return to the hotel at check out - we were told to just leave the key device on the kitchen table. location is great,Duomo is at the corner. My room overlooked the plaza. it is in the center of all events and sights . In spite of this, the second you close the door, you don't hear anything. The room is elegant and spacious. It has everything you may ever need in a hotel room. It deserves every penny compared to my previous 2 hotels i stayed at in Italy. checking in another hotel is just 2 mins walk, so it wasnt a problem at all. Its location is very nice as it is in a middle of touristic area and 5 to 10 mins walking to bus station where u can get bus tour(i highly encourage) in has clean bed sheets an towels but not to be changes except if u pay extra fees as mentioned in booking confirmation It has all studio facilities and small kitchen so u can get ur tea and have ur breakfast there. The location for this apartment is excellent, it is literally right in the middle of Florence, walking distance to all the major sights and cafes and restaurants. The apartment is a good size and is clean and has everything that you need. There is even free wifi for two hours a day if you don't mind sitting outside at one of the seats or cafes. We were blown away by the location on this piazza, and the price. The Savoy was across the way, high end shopping all around, and lovely music drifted up to our window from the live band performing in the piazza below at night. We specifically felt it was a little slice of bohemian lifestyle that we loved and the location was second to none with an amazing view of Piazza Republiccca and thw Duomo! It was a bit of a hassle to arrive with all of your bags and then have to go over to the hotel to pick up the key. Be sure to ask for two keys -- you need the key to turn on the electric, so one person can't leave the apartment without turning off the electric for whoever stays. The only criticism I would have is that the 'kitchen' was rather minimal. Fine for breakfast and a spot of supper but not really adequate for preparing a family meal. A small microwave oven and/or electric kettle would be useful additions. no free wifi. it is written in the booking notes check in is near by a hotel but in face check in is inside the hotel mentioned in the booking confirmation and they will take u to the address mentioned to get ur room. The room i got was noisy from inside the building elevator u feel in it inside ur room however at the time i was there it wasnt used alot. Wifi was not included. No mosquito nets on the windows - we were eaten alive!. Your car is taken an parked by special person and the procedure takes almost 30 minutes. Be ready to wait car back not by arranged time but half an hour more. No free wifi. Parts of the room were dusty, which made me question the cleanliness of other parts of the room. There is a restaurant just opposite our room so we often feel the smell of the food they were cooking. Clearning is for additional fee, but we expected it, so it was absolutely Ok with us. Can't think of anything I didn't like. The lift in the building was very noisy and this was a bit annoying when trying to sleep at times. There's a lack of natural light and, with the windows being so high, it felt a little claustrophobic - no view. Having said that its still a good place to stay and I would recommend it. Check-in/check-out are in another hotel (Hotel De Lanzi) , 3 minutes' walking distance. The lift was small, claustrophobic and noisy which scared the kids. The rooms had a haunted feel. It would have been nice to have more than one key as the key is needed to provide electricity to the room but there is no buzzer to let someone in. Internet does not work in my room. The personal of hotels did not understand my problem urgently. They has needed quite much time. Could do with some new paint, and could be cleaner. No free wifi mosquitos in the room even though we never opened the doors. walls are paper thin. Bit difficult to find, note you check in at a different location than the accommodation address. Dislike: the city workers were very noisy, but wasn't the hotel's fault!. Need directions to hotel where one checks in, we were lucky and found it by accident but could foresee this being a problem. arriving in venice by car and finding the car parking garage was difficult. to strong conditioner, difficult to make comfortable temperature (it was imposible to open windows as it was smell of cooking food in the area due to number of caffe in the area. speed of service. The check in process is convoluted - you speak through a speaker and someone lands up to help you, he takes you to your room and then you ho for your check in to another place2 blocks away. Also, the entry to the hotel is not the best. Stairwells were very dark...even during the day. Have to pay for wifi. you are only given one set of towels. the lift is very shabby. I had to pay for Wifi and the signal was poor. Only one person at a time could connect to wifi. There is no room service so we had unclean towels for three days. I know some of the apartments have a washing machine but ours did not.
