It was a great stay in Hotel Genzianella. The staff is really polite and all of them speak english. We checked in on friday 8th november. They gave us a city map, explain how to find all the sights, where to eat local tasty food, but not in the tourist area. Also the hotel is 24/7. It is 20 minutes far away from the station and 10 minutes from Duomo. Location is great. The hotel is located on the 3rd and 4th flor but there is elevator. I totally recommend this hotel.
all reviews » We only stayed for one night, so I can't really offer a great review...but our room was clean, large and comfortable, the man at reception was very friendly and helpful, WiFi was free and worked okay, and the location is great. Although we didn't use them, the common room and dining area looked nice too!. Loved the staff! Really friendly and very accommodating and helped me get a room with no reso the second night unexpectedly at the same low rate! I will be back as a regular no doubt!. It's a little long walk from the station but can easy reach all the scenic spots.i like the room along the Firenze street,good view.staff are sweet and helpful. Very helpful personnel; silent room; free W-Fi (except Skype) even at this low cost room; not bad location; excelent option for budget travellers. I was very impressed with the staff. They all speak English and they are so helpful with everyone from the very beginning. Staff our extremely helpful, location good with secure parking nearby. Chianti afternoon tour excellent value for money. There is free parking at 8pm to 8am and sunday alldaylong. cheap cost and not bad location. staff is kind. The shower releasing has a little problem in my room. Lack of foreign TV programs. Well, the cleaning woman never appeared to my room. My room was clean anyway but why not change the sheets.. Room a little noisy. shower room is small. The location is a bit far from the main station. I stayed for 3 days.The shower-room without hot water in my first two days.There are some promblem for the machine. Pity!But the staff did his best to deal with that!!. The breakfast is very simple, without any fresh vegetable, cheese... low pressure showers. Woke up after the first night with a lot of bites. Friends seemed to think it was fleas as there were no Mosquitos in sight. But not all of us had this problem so who knows. Wifi connection was poor - not a big deal at all as price is excellent but just a note. Noisy roads as their was,t any double glazing. Small lift, hard to find. No parking. Road works out the front were a hassle, we also were not made aware of the road restrictions ever... The room was satisfactory but rather small. First night when we arrived the stuff was very bad . I wait stuff 10-15 minutes and looking how he moving paper and reading something. He was very slowly. He speak very slowly and telling same thing 10 times. Actually i was a little bit disappointed with room condition. Our room was very big but very old . Also its smell not good. Next day staff was excellent and helpful. We pay a little and get very nice room .
