it was cheap, clean and very helpfull staff. Good location, calm environment, friendly Front office staff. Good for short stay and not-too-heavy-luggage travellers ;-). Clean room, but the shower didn't work very well. Friendly staff. Very good situation in the city centre. location is good, plenty of street parking at nite, very helpfull staff. The Reception Staff were very friendly and the hotel was 10 mins walk to central florence.Close to centre, appropriate breakfast. The personal was helpful. Price. The nearness of the old city centre. the queen size bed in the double room kept splitting apart and had metal bars were exposed beneath the sheets. There's still smoke-smell left in bathroom and going upstair (2nd floor) by stair. Breakfast was very basic. We have to wait to long at the moment of check in because the room was not ready for us when we arrive even when we get there much after the check in time.Rooms could use some sprucing up. Breakfast minimal. the breakfast is not so "rich",very hard to find free parking pleace. Hard bed, cold room. Nescafe was served at breakfast. the beds were old and sagged, appart from that all was good. There was no hot water 2 out of the three nights we stayed there. Woman in charge of breakfast seems to hate her job/the world.It was terribly cold in the room. While in the hall temperature wasaround +18, in the room it was +10 and in the bathroom +6!!! Despite ofthis, heating was working only for few hours in the morning and in theevening! We could not even wash our hands normally (water sometimes wasonly slightly warm, not hot) and to undress. Toilet door lock wasbroken. Don't go there during winter, never!!!. It was extremely cold in the room, since the room itself was very big. Very poor breakfast; Heating not working properly. 1. Double rooms are all facing to the street, which are noisy. 2. Breakfast time is limited to 9 am which seems too early. 3. Change request for a quite room was accecpted but has to change to a one-and-a-half room, without charging us a cheaper price. 4. not so near to center.Poor hotel of the lowest level, indefinable stars, forniture like from the flea market, need to be restored, without the discount the prices are sky-high for the offer,.
