Location was great for walking around Florence. Staff was very attentive and friendly. The view was very nice, they had a little terrace and you could go up to the roof top. We could see the Duomo which was also a good landmark to look for when going back to the hotel. The buffet breakfast was included and had fresh squeezed orange juice every morning. I am spoiled by the cappuccino and Italian coffee that I have had in Italy. Nice variety. Not much room if you wanted to unpack suitcases but wa.

The shower was part of the bathroom and once you got used to it, it was fine as it was very european...remember this is not a $200.00 room. That the hotel only have two stars, they owe tree stars. Only reason we could find was the size of the double room, with no workplace for buissness travelers. Else everything was very nice. Area felt a little rough in daytime but oddly better at night. Bathroom on the top floor is tiny and when you take a shower everything in the bathroom is wet. A shower and a toilette were very small. The shower was not separate, water everywhere. Our room was on top (5th) floor with one small window, little daylight, and poor electrical illumination - no reading in bed. Small room, noisy AC, outdated bathroom - no shower enclosure. Elevator only reaches front desk on 4th floor, stairs to 5th floor rooms. Nothing. We were in a attic bedroom which was small with a large bed. Small bathroom. Also hot as it was in the attic and only a portable air conditioner. The hotel is quite far away from the train station. Bathroom is tiny without proper shower. Price reflects quality and cleanliness. Fine for a short stay on a budget. Our room was a little bit noisy from outside noise as well as the hallway. The small lift that leads to the hotel door. Not easy to fit even though I only had 2 luggage bags n a haversack with me. The room seemed a bit dated. The bathroom was very small with the shower over the toilet which I am not so keen on although didn't mind using that for a couple of days but wouldn't be keen if it was longer. I thought it was closer to Firenze SMN station...quite along walk with luggage. But only a few Euros to get a taxi back to the station...a much better plan!. Bathrooms are small. Really the place just to sleep, the shower even without a cabin (like on the boats) is not a plus. Te TV is too small. No complaints. Beware of balcony rooms on the street side of the hotel if you don't like noise! Quite a bit of street noise from below, especially Sunday flea market setting up early. Not a problem if you have decent ear plugs though!. No loundry. Slow elevator. Small bathroom. No bath-curtain. Our room was on the first floor and it got loud sometimes at night!. Wifi in room (1st floor) lost connect every 15 sec. No no-smoking rooms You need to go up 4 floors to go to the reception.
