  Charming, helpful owners. Castellamare del Golfo is a good base for visiting North West Sicily. The scenery in the area is beautiful. The town is not far from Palermo airport and the autostrada does not have much traffic. - Great place, perfect location and very friendly staff!! Recommended to everybody!!

I contacted thehotel and advised them that we would not be able to stay on 10th July aspreviously arranged.   Very nice little apartment. Didn't use the kitchen facilities much, as I ate out every night, but they looked clean and in good order. I was there on business, but it would also make a great apartment for a group of friends of a small family. Great location near the harbour and restaurants and the staff were friendly and helpful. - Very friend... what people say » ly owners! The location is perfect - near the port and the castel, plus the road to Scapello and the Zingaro National park is very close. The appartment was excellent value for money - a lot of space, not new luxyry furniture but well kept.

  The hotel staff were friendly and helpful. The resort is quiet but beautiful with plenty of choices for excellent eating places within walking distance. The hotel was very clean and the rooms were large and comfortable. The breakfast was excellent. We used public transport (bus and train) which was fairly reliable and reasonably priced. A hire car... what people say » would be useful if you want to sightsee further afield. - The hotel staff were top class. Helpful to every request. One of the receptionists (whose name I don't know, but she spends half the year in NYC) forgot to call a cab for the local train station so she drove us herself!....Not something you get to often here in Dublin. We stayed in a junior suite which is on the top floor with a good sized balcony looking directly out over the sea.

  This last visit was my second at Casa D'Anna. Spotlessly clean. Good location in centre of town. The host, Piero, puts out a first-class breakfast. On my next trip to Sicily in the spring, this is my choice. We arrive from Ireland at night and this city is a short drive from the airport.
