The shuttle service from our flight back to the hotel, and back to the airport again was on time and a super big plus. The front staff were vey helpful, fast and informative. It was decorated very modern and fun. The chef/ food was excellent, and we really liked the open kitchen where you could see her cooking. The whole place was so clean, you could feel it when you entered. Wi- fi avail, which for us is so important being from another country to get all our traveling times and ticket info and.
all reviews » It was exactly what you would expect from an Ibis hotel - clean, comfortable, efficient and very friendly staff. This hotel is probably the closest and cheapest hotel to Milan Malpensa airport. It has all the facilities one would require. We stayed two nights (between onward flight connections) - the shuttle bus took us to the airport (and return) on our free day so we could do some Milan sight-seeing and shopping - the Malpensa Express train is an excellent way to travel between the airport. We liked the contemporary design of the room, with everything extremely clean. It looked brand new! The bed and pillows were comfortable. The bathroom and shower were excellent. It met our needs wonderfully. Also the restaurant was very good, for evenings and breakfast. The shuttle to and from the airport, included in the price of the room, was wonderful also. All in all a great experience. Loved the cleanliness and comfort of the rooms and beds. We finished our trip here before a flight the following day and it was a perfect place to unwind & rest a little before our flight. Even ate at the restaurant and enjoyed our meal a lot. Pesto sauce was delicious. Also, it was easy to get to the airport in the morning- just 5 min away. The staff is friendly and helpful. It is relatively close to the Malpensa airport. There is a shuttle running between the hotel and the airport every 30 minutes, which is convenient. The pick-up and drop-off is outside of Exit 7 on the Arrival Level of the airport, but it is not explicitly stated in the letsbookhotel.com web page. Once you arrive at the Ibis, we recommend you stay inside the Ibis and give Malpensa town a complete miss. Some of the glassware in the restaurant needed to be disposed of: 1 glass had a broken edge which could have cut a person's lip if not noticed in time. One wine glass appeared a little smudged and not so clean, and we asked for another. Not much. Don't expect any kind of lively activity as it is in a small and quiet town. Only one grocery store at about one km distance. Personally not a problem as I like to walk. The breakfast is so-so... We were told they had shuttle service from the airport, but there were no direct phone connections to the hotel. We had to find a security person to call for us, and then were told the shuttle would be there in 10 minutes. 40 minutes later it finally came! There was no comment or apology from the driver or check-in people at the hotel. Can't think of anything I didn't like. Went to Gate 10 as posted by hotel for the free shuttle to the hotel, only to find a parking lot, and no sign of shuttle buses; ended up paying 18 Euros for a taxi. Apparently the shuttle comes every half hour at quarter past and quarter to - this information should be on the hotel information site. There is no free water in the room,neither the normal water nor the hot water. Staff were friendly but the restaurant didn't seem able to cope with a relatively small number of customers. Directions offered on website could be much easier to read for drivers coming from north. It's VERY basic - toiletries for example are a single bottle of "soapshampooconditionerliquid". But other than that it's great. Had to wait an hr and a half for the hotel shuttle to come. the breakfast buffet has no scrambled eggs, no omelets, no bacon, and I could go on...and the price is 11.50 euros!. Only one wallplug in the room, the other side of the bed from me too! No tea or coffee making, but that's normal in Europe. Restaurant and bar service was terrible, had to wait 20 minutes for drinks. In the list of foreign countries phone code doesn't appear the code for Israel, this is very strange and makes me wonder what the reason is.We have stayed at Ibis in different parts of the world and never notice it. Getting from the airport to the hotel was a bit of a challenge. finding the location for the free shuttle was difficult. A local cab driver finally directed me and called Ibis. the shuttle took 40 minutes to arrive and it was a 3 mile distance to the hotel. A lot of the food choices are frozen. Pay attention to the small print on the menu. Our lunch salad advertised tuna, there was none in it when we ate it. The gal never bothered to tell us, and when we inquired she just said "we're out." I thought they should have adjusted the charge, but remember, this is a budget hotel. We had a pretty decent meal at the Best Western hotel nearby. Stick to pasta. The hotel is quite remote and you need all the time to take the shuttle to Malpensa in order to get to Milano. The walls of the rooms are also a bit too narrow, so you kind of hear what is happening in other rooms. room phones were non functional and food in restaurant was not up to Italian standards , but served well by hard working crew. Was on a low floor close to front entry and people were gathered there to smoke until very late at night and the noise was unwelcome given an early time to arise to catch a plane. checking in through their ibis apps through my iphone can sometimes cause you to reserve other dates which is not intended by you. In description there was an information, that shuttle-bus pick up guests from 7th arrival entrance, but actually it was near 10th entrance, so we had to look for the shuttle. the food at the restaurant was made from frozen products. Breakfast buffet was a little depleted and atmosphere was somewhat chaotic in getting things restocked. Couldn't find the milk at all. Didn't like having to pay 2 euro for a cup of coffee then having to pay 8.50 for breakfast a little later. Need some kind of coffee service in the room. There was no comfortable chair to sit in and the bed slid away from the wall. Awkward location for electrical outlet. We prefer a shower rather than a tub/shower. it rained!.
