Our room was spotless, and comfortable and the view over Lake Como exceptional. The easy access to the Funicolare made this hotel convenient and an excellent choice over staying in Como town.   The welcome from Roberto and Manuela and their staff and children could not have been kinder or more generous. Incredible view from the terrace where we ate all our meals. My las - The hotel is at a beautiful location. In case of good weather you will have a superb view over Como and the lake. The host is very friendly and helpful. We could arrange our check-in for the next morning flight via Internet on their computer. Driving to the hotel (abt.20min from Como) was exciting and funny. You need to be prepared for narrow roads where only one car fits. The hotel is not easy to find but once you are there the view is great.

  Although the roads to this hotel are narrow and difficult the location and the hotel itself are more than worth the effort to get there. The welcome was the most friendly experienced on this trip. The rooms, lounge etc. are presented beautifully and this a truly wonderful place for couples but not really suited to families with young children. We loved our time h - The Villa is a beautiful old house which has been lovingly and tastefully restored and decorated in 2013. Kristina is a very friendly host. Great location with lovely veiws and only a short walk to the Funicular that takes you to Como. The breakfast was varied and overall good. The option for wine and coffee (Nespresso) in the lounge was a nice touch, but one must pay.
