The room we got was exactly the room we saw on the pictures at the letsbookhotel.com. It was exactly what we wanted: enough space, refrigerator, balcony looking over the Ben Yehuda street (big plus that the balcony is in the shadow!). TV with lots of HD movie channels. Fine bathroom. Supermarket was just 5 meters away. Beach was 200 meters away. And nice cafes, bars, restaurants were all around. 10 minutes walk to the Carmel market. Personnel was very nice, easy-going and friendly.
all reviews » Kimi Naumburg the manager is a one of a kind in terms of his genuine concern, willingness to assist way beyond that which I could ever have expected and assisted me with the satellite TV @ 20h00 in the evening even though he was supposed to finish for the day @ 18h00. He made staying here such a pleasure and assisted with caring for my luggage before and after check-in/out times. First there was the suspicion, it turned out cool. Beach and near the city center nearby. Neighborhoods with streets are cleaner on the next. If you do not fool generally normal. except cockroaches in the room. Not fully equipped in terms of self catering (crockery and cutlery). - more stowage in the bath room would be great. dont clean room every day. on friday evening there is a club just below the hostel and it's very noisy. Parking is an issue. There is no dryer for linen. No windows or natural light - it was like staying in a dungeon. It's not an "apartment", no stove or separate rooms. The one room was crowded and small. There is no service with the room. No maid service, no soap/shampoo, no reception. The street level door is open at all hours so you enter the hallway with no security at all. Feels very unsafe. Too bad, this place could be so much nicer if they'd just bother taking care of it better. need some renovation, for six days the room was not cleaned. Was smaller than on the pictures. It was not very clean. The kitchen has not pots and oven just a microwave so it is perfect for very short stay. Small studio - on the web side seems to be bigger. Not very clean, especially bathroom.
