The staff were friendly from the moment we walked in. The bed and the room were comfortable, plus it was very clean. The hotel is located 5 mins walking distance from the port and a beach called blue flag beach. Breakfast wasn't amazing but it was good enough and I was pleased with their coffee. One more thing that is important to note is that the hotel has an elevator ( which not every hotel I looked for in Tel aviv had) and the AC is brand new and works perfectly. I would recomend this hotel.

The hotel is very convenient located at the crossing of Ben Yehuda and Dizengoff streets - the center of Tel Aviv social life. And at the same time it's just 3 minuts from the Metzitzim beach, Yarkon park and old port, where you can find a lot of wonderful places to eat and relax, and make shopping. I'm going to stay here next time. And recommend this place to everybody. THIS HOTEL IS AN ABSOLUTE GEM! Located on a quiet sreet a stone's throw from the beautiful Tel-Aviv port and boardwalk,it is spotlessly clean , elegantly designed,and close to central bus car and walking routes.The breakfast described as continental is far more lavish and assorted than many traditional ones.Above all -the staff is extremely pleasant, polite ,helpful and efficient. Absolutely best value for money!. The staff were excellent, with helpful advice and a very friendly attitude. The room was very comfortable and had everything needed for a relaxing stay. Breakfast was very nice with enough variety to please all. We thought the Port Hotel excellent value and very stylish and close to Tel Aviv beaches, shopping and wonderful cafes. It's a bit far from the beach though it's 5 min walk to the sea and only 3 min walk to dezenghof. The staff is nice and friendly. The bath is rather small but well equiped and clean. Breakfast is simple: juice, milk, cheese, toasts, apples. No meat, no other fruites, no omelette. Perfect, just stay here. The staff members found discounts for surf schools for us, told us how to use public bikes, gave us all kinds of info and advices about transports, local habits, museums, nightlife.. Healthy breakfast and superclean rooms, safe neighborhood. Given that Tel Aviv is an expensive city, this hotel was a pleasant surprise. It was clean, modern, comfortable and in a great location. Was it a true twin?. Lack of a gym.. I'm an exercise person so wanted a place I could work out.. A small gym to destress from the hustle n bustle of the day's activities would have been good! Breakfast had no variety.. Same stuff everyday-variety would have been good!. bad view in windows. and they could't find the another room with good view in window. I liked everything. No parking. Minimal breakfast. I would like the option of English tea (drink) within the dining area. Breakfast had little variety: you had to have a key for the safe deposit box instead of pin numbers and therefore you had to leave a cash deposit. The breakfast. All through our travel in Israel we had difficulty with the coffee. unvaried and rather poor breakfast small rooms. There's a construction site bevy to the hotel which was horrible in the morning . Breakfast a bit too minimal but adequate. No parking facility despite stating there was. Some of the rooms (especially the ones near the lobby on 1st floor) - are a bit Noisy. No Gratis Parking. You are taking away the facility of the use of your cycles. nothing!. a little bit more choice in Breakfast would be better. Our room overlooked the noisy streets, which was becoming a nuisance in the evening with the window open. Unfortunately the hotel is undergoing renovations (to the existing part is the added new part of the building) and it is inconvenient, because the work will commence at 7.30 am. Fortunately, the work ends in the afternoon, the workers do not make over-time and evening is OK. Loud is air-conditionair but I have to admit that it is very effective. The bathroom is too small. As we needed some fresh air we opened windows, but noice from the big road and some rennovation work outside made it very uncomfortable to sleep. Breakfast could be more. Long distance from city-center, it is OK only if you want to spend all your day on the beach. Breakfast was minimal, but in fairness, that is how it was described Room was too small for American tastes. I have stayed at Holiday Inns that were roomier. rather small room. I can hear traffic noise from the street.
