Near to the Old City and the rest of the City, good bus connections, wonderful view to the Old city. The room was spacy, so you could rest there comfortably between the sightseeing. In the reception there was little information about the traffic connections and walking routes. Breakfeast was in the beginning quite poor, because there were only a few guests, later the variety of food was better, but the coffee was horrible.

To be a real bargain at a 3-4 star hotel, some niceties must be added -- a real fridgette in the room (not just a small 'cooler', free wi-fi; newer funiture may be too much to ask. Only the lady receptionist and one man in the breakfast room were friendly. The Staff should be trained how to treat guests. Even one 'manager' was rude. Reception people less than friendly and welcome. Nothing. The very large drape, on a huge window and doorway to the balcony, was impossible to open and close and we had to request help from the staff each morning and evening... The food in the restaurant was very poor. And very expensive if you want e.g.to have dinner there ( $45!). The waiters are very slow and lazy. It is very noisy in the rooms at night, I could hardly sleep. The reception staff, not very courteous or helpful. The service was not great. I asked the front desk to call a cab and was told to just walk to the street it would be quicker. Also, the hotel is very out dated. Towels were too thin, bed too low, not that comfortable, tv station selection very poor. The breakfast was mediocore compared to others I have had in Israel. The lobby was too hot. The hotel is old dirty and is in desperate need oof a remodel. It was so bad that we change to the mamilla hotel for the same money and 100% better cleaner hotel.
