all reviews » The staff and the hotel were simply perfect from the start. The room was super clean and organized. Breakfast stands on its own, there are so many choices that you can taste a different menu choices during your entire stay. The hotel also offered a complimentary and delicious bottle of israeli wine. Lovely staff, beautiful location. The view is incredible. I loved that the windows opened and you cannot beat the sound of the sea every morning. The Junior Suite was a great size for a small family and there were actually two air conditioning units in the suite. There were three televisions and a small kitchen. As an English speaking tourist from South Africa(little Herbrew), the staff were very friendly and made an effort to communicate with me in English. Everything was explained clearly. They were very efficient. I loved the atmosphere. The food was great. Good value for money. Everything was exellent. The staff at the hotel did all the best for us. We stayed at the top suite with an enormous wiew. Beach and pedestrian next by. Use a rental car and you can go anywere:). The location is excelent, right on the promenade with all the restaurants. The public beach is across the road from the hotel, but this is the closest you can get in Israel. Almost all rooms have an amazing sea views. We stayed in Leonardo for a week had a nice suite viewing the mediterrnian sea. We had a great time the staff is very friendly. We had a great time we also liked to breakfast which is very good. Repairs during sleeping hours. Very high prises at the bar. Great localization, by the sea side, near restaurants. The hotel is definitely older and has been remodeled; however there are a few weird things. In our suite, the electrical outlets were coming out of the wall and were not secure. The garbage smell at the entrance to the restaurant. No free wifi. Having to pay for expensive internet connection in the room. So, I did not use it but instead used the business centre. The hotel is a bit outdated, and needs some referbishment. Rooms are generally clead if you are not looking behing the curtains or under the bed. Need a car to go to the city. The Hotel need to go through a deep renovation and modernization process. Facilities maintenance in poor: - Room 1761 (deluxe suite). Carpet needs cleaning; - Wall closet door off-track and very hard to move 2. Staff would benefit from additional training suitable for 4 star hotel 3. WiFi is not complementary ~ $18/day 4.Guest relation Manager is quite rude and arrogant. The hotel was build 15 years ago and since it has no renewal. All bath and toilet equipment is very old. The same with furniture. We were waiting for 3(three) hours before given the room! Though I booked it in advance through Booking .com. Simple explanation from the staff was that they were cleaning the room. During the whole stay in the Hotel the electronic door lock didn't work and was not fixed. Hotel needs good maintenance. There are bugs in children pool, clean in room was not made every day, there are no umbrellas and sun loungers in beach, no hotel's beach, only state beach, it's difficult to find place without sun at the beach, to my mind it's 3+stars hotel, not 5 or 4, food is also not so good. not very user friendly management. The place is very dirty Room price is relatively very high for the hotel quality The swimming pool and the area above is dirty and neglected Staff isn't responsive No real cleaning of the room, they only change towels and do beds, I had to ask for real cleaning as we were staying 4 days with our 3 young children eating in the room !!!.
