The hotel is really intrestingly decorated, it felt pleasant to stay there, like on the island of art. The room was nice and clean, probably not big enough for someone, but it was really just perfect for us. The area is quite shabby, though I would say it is characteristic of the whole Haifa, except the centre, that is 15 minutes walk from the hotel, which is also just fine. Guy at the reception was very helpfull, a/c worked well, tea and coffee in the room served as a very nice compliment.
all reviews » We arrived late in the evening and got SUITE room instead of Standard double - beacuse all of them very busy already. That was a very pleasant surprise. Huge balcony, city view, good location. Extremely helpful stuff. Really ART hotel - some nice sculptures, pictures - nice and interesting idea to decorate the hotel. Tasty breakfast. The proximity to all that Haifa has to offer is great. The art work in the hotel gives food for thought and prompts discussion. The roof top views and quirky sculptures are unusual and pleasing. Staff helpful. the art and design created a beautiful, timeless and peaceful oasis in the middle of a buzzing city. i was sick and the staff brought me food to the room and were so kind!. Wi-fi is free but very difficult to catch it (we lived on the 5th floor). Breakfast is served by stuff - we needed to wait to catch somebody. Not in love with location, although safe, a little funky. The location wasn't great as it was in a pretty scummy dodgey neighbourhood however a 10 minute walk down the road will take you to the central German colony. The bathroom also wasn't up to hotel standard but rather a hostel or guesthouse standard. staff not so informative on surrounding attractions and cleanliness could be much better. Access is very difficult because of road construction. The neighborhood is not nice!. The Breakfast was acceptable, but don't expect special treatment. Some breakfast staff were disrespectful with a rather harsh behavior and poor language skills. The setting is noisy. The price is right for a 4 star but this is not worthy of 4 stars. Breakfast was very bad and the staff at breakfast was very unfriendly. The room was not very clean and the location is not convenient: there is a 20 minutes walk to the restaurants in the german colony. 1) The room is about 12 m2 and not 22 m2 as promised. The bed was 1.40 meters width. I suppose that I received single room instead double room. 2) In the bath room just liquid soap. 3) Very poor breakfast. 4) Noise from thr street, close to station of buses. 5) My impression is that the 2 stars is too much for this hotel. I think that 2 stars is faire enough according the room size and the breakfast. The hotel was absolutely a disaster: location was extremely bad, the building itself was not in good conditions, the room was very small and the bathroom like probably a one/ two stars. The experience was really unpleasant. Rooms were quite dirty (stains, dust,etc) and faucet even backed up. Had horrible service, as beds were not made and had to ask multiple times for basic maintenance requests. In general quite possibly one of the worst hotels I have stayed at in my life.
