Breakfast is available at a local café, but not on Saturdays.

This was a great choice for my family of four (two adult daughters). The hotel is within walking distance of the train station. This hotel has 8 rooms at reasonable prices. It recently opened in Sept, 2011 The hotel was our first stop after a 20 hour flight. The rooms were recently renovated. Everything was in top shape. Our room was one floor above street level and my daughters’ room , with two twin beds, was 2 streets above street level. Each room had a kitchenette with a selection of co.
all reviews » Moshe, the proprietor, was there waiting for us upon our arrival. We found him to be friendly, and eager to see that our stay at his hotel was an enjoyable one. The room was spacious, modern and comfortable. He even left little snacks for us. The hotel is in an excellent location - right in the center of town. Plenty of restaurants and shopping nearby - close to the train and the beautiful Ba'hai Temple and gardens. We had a rental car and spent a great deal of our stay in Haifa traveling to lo. Great value and great location to explore Haifa & its surroundings. Staff were very helpful & provided maps and good tips on what to see and do. Haifa metro is a 2 min walk, this will take you to Mt Carmel, German Colony & Bahai gardens are a 15 min walk or you can catch the metro bus, this will get you to the beaches, cable cars & Elijah's cave. The central train station is just across the road. A great value for money place to stay. Amazing place. Paris square is around the corner, where every evening something is happening: painting classes, pilates, salsa. Right outside the hotel on thursdays and fridays there is a small market. The owner of the hotel is simply the loveliest host ever! Rooms have a very pleasant design. Each room has a small kitchen with a set of dishes and cutlery, pretty spacious and clean!!! I was a little worried from the noises that could result from the 2 days Sukkot festival just next to the hotel, so the room location was changed with no problems and it was really quite. Great location – walking distance from the German colony, the port area, the "Carmelit" (underground to the carmel mountain) and many pubs at night. Really excellent! Spacious and with friendly design, with all you need to eat or rest, great location (you can be in 10 minutes on the top of Bohai garden or in German colony or on the flea market),quiet, green balconies, shops near the hotel and also a street with free parking... We liked it very much. Easy to find and easy to use as a start to close trips (Akra, Keneret...). We stayed in room #9. What a fabulous place. We were sorry we were only spending one night. The owners were amazingly helpful!! and cheerful. Huge loft type ceilings, giagantic room, a king and a single bed in room. A balcony. Lots of windows. Lovely dining area in middle of room. The room was clean, stylish and modern and had recently been furnished. It's description on the website is fully accurate.The owner was very helpful and hospitable and goes out of his way to cater to your needs. It is a short walk from many shops, restraunts and cafes. . The location is good enough. But the main objects it is better to reach by car. Room was clean and very good decorated. The last night it was concert just before our windows. Stuff is helpful. The hotel didn't has parking lot. But we left our car not far from the hotel. Great hotel. Very responsive staff. The manager Moshe is the best person. We had a late check in (after midnight) and it was not a problem at all. (In Israel it is a problem to check in in a late time). Highly recommend this hotel to anyone. Great value for this money. The location is great. 1926 situated in the center of the old city and next to the Bahai Gardens, Carmelit subway, resturants and designer's shops. During our stay there was a Festival in the streets around - colorful and friendly environment. It seems like a lot of effort was put in the design of the room. It's beautiful, one wants to stay there, the hotel's name doesn't deceive you. Kitchen is equipped rather well. A guy at the reception was extremely helpfull. Good vibe, downtown location close to nice bars and restaurants, friendly staff and close to transportation. The street in front of the hotel (for one short block) is closed off and the pavement is removed. A narrow, asphalt sidewalk runs from paved cross streets to the hotel. Moshe met us where the taxi dropped us off and helped us to the rooms. There is no elevator. There was street construction going on in the morning, but we never heard the noise in our room. Hopefully the Haifa street department will complete the work soon. A bit difficult to locate the first time, but once you do, its easy to get around. I think if we'd been paying better attention we would have found it sooner - hint: try not to time your arrival during rush hour - the streets are busy!. Niente. Shower door was a tad hard to open because of raised floor, but this was only minor - but open carefully.The area outside of the apartments is currently under construction however this did not prove to be a problem and noise was not an issue. . There is no cleaning in the room and it was very inconvinient when they came last evening to ask for a payment. Absolutely nothing!!!. The lobby is poor and was under construction. Dinner table is too low, it suits for a glass of wine only. No breakfast! But there's a nice Tunisian sandwich shop around the corner (delicious and very filling). Though it has some worthwhile areas and some very good food, Haifa (particularly the downtown) has many scattered run-down and abandoned buildings which serve as pigeon homes. Just one minus I can put its because of bed. We expected one mattress bed. The Yom Hazmaut road, because a main road, very noisy. The windows can not be left open at night. However, the traffic is no longer distracting with the window closed. We arrived late to the hotel around 7pm and there is no 24 hour reception. It was a letter taped to the wall, with instructions. I was able to call staff and they were extremely helpful and we did not have any problems with the rooms however if we would have needed someone right away no staff was at the hotel to assist. Small detail, and again I would stay at 1926 without any worries or concerns. Wish there was a lift! In another place we also got an Israeli cellphone to use for free, a good idea that you could adopt. No parking belonging to property. Not included breakfast. The location. It was in a pedestrian walkway but there were bars below and bands playing in the streets at night so we found it quite noisy. There was also a dual carriageway next to us. It wasn't unbearable. Fine if you can sleep in in the morning. Good air-condition but a little bit noisy. all was perfect. No lift. Some difficulty to park (if you use a rental car). Can't really think of anything. The shower could have been better, but not bad at all. The loud music coming from video? store across the avenue. shower-room a little small. Nothing. Note that one has to climb stairs to reach the apartment. Walking zone, so you can't drop luggage or people in front. nothing! all was just great!. Lack of light, windows but perfect for a short stay in haifa between port and bahais gardens. No lift and no dedicated parking slots. Not much places to eat around at night, but the subway drives you to many places in 5 minutes. No wardrobe and hangers provided. The area was deserted, probably because it was winter (December), so not many restaurants were open. Having to leave after a few nights!. no reception at night. Limited checkin / out hours, no parking outside of street parking which can be a big issue to find a spot during the day.
