  Very friendly staff and a warm welcome.The hotel is being refurbished and the areas that have been done are very impressive. We stayed in one of the rooms which had not been refurbished. Although a little dated the room was clean,comfortable and well appointed . We were on the third floor but there is a lift so no problem. The hotel is in a super positio - The staff. The Bar Food. The fabulous sea view from our room. A plus was that coeliacs were catered for - even if limited.

Short walk to pool complex and beach. Lots of possible day trips:Fota, Glenbower, Ardmore, Lismore (and the Towers at Ballysaggartmore), and Youghal town.   A fantastic one nighter apartment overlooking the sea in November...had our elderly mother with us and we were concerned regards heating ....beautifully warm and eileen and therese at reception desk were more than accomadting with more coffee and milk for mum and a sewing kit which was desperately needed for an ongoing party and directions to our ... what people say » venue. Sat on the balcony and watched the sun rise. The apt was immaculately clean and had everything you could wish for ...QUALITY INDEED - The accommodation was excellent and clean. The entertainment was lively too and plenty for the kids to do. It was right on the beach which was a big attraction to come again. All in all we had a very good holiday there and would recommend it to a young family who are looking for a nice break away.

  Our stay was excellent. Staff were very polite and helpful. Ideal family holiday. Room was perfect for out needs and spotless. Leisure centre was excellent and on the fine days - the beach was on alongside the hotel.
