we had a beautiful meal in the restaurant(it was in the price) staff very friendly and helpful.There was not enough room in the seating area in the main bar in the evening to listen to the entertainment. the facitilies for children are excellent, and the hotels atmosphere is brillient i will deffinately be staying in this hotel again.the staff . and the kids had the freedom of the place . leisure center was fab.

The pool was brillant,had 7year old ,so we spent time there the weather not good,. clean, facilities, space, welcoming staff, steam room... Staff were cheerful and helpful - as we were catching the morning ferry from Rosslare Mike (?) (night porter) phoned ahead and checked that the ferry was running on schedule which was much appreciated.food, leisure centre. The Leisure Centre.Nice size room. The beds. love that they catered for children family room was a great size and the playground was a bonus and they loved the swimming pool. the use of leisure facilities after a day out. Leisure centre and facilities for kids. Convenience and friendliness of staff. Liked our room, very comfortable and a nice view of the fountain. Enjoyed the use of the leisure centre, facilities very good, friendly and helpful staff. Waiting service was slow for drinks orders also not enough bar staff to attend customers approx 5 minute wait for orders.Large bedroom, decent bathroom with thought given to children using it. The attached Leisure Centre was excellent. Reception area and room were good. The room equipment was excellent.I liked that it was very family orientated. ease of facilities, friendly staff. Pool, bar area. Good leisure club, good restaurant, room large and clean though furnished very basically. Plenty of parking, good sized family room, perfect for a quick one night stop. Close to the shops and the ferry port. We had an excellent evening meal, with very good service. The overpriced wine, the leisure facilities. breakfast was good value for money. unfortunately the fire alarm went off three times during the night and we had a visit from the fire brigade checking all the rooms!! we had very little sleep.I would have likedmore fruit for breakfast. Only a little thing but as we walked into our room after checking inthere was a "slight smell" from the bathroom.. Leaving the windows opena little would sort this. Otherwise everything else was perfect.The Saturday night band were not great. everything was just right. Just a general comment ..ambiance would be improved by lightingfires...seemed to be gas fires installed,which, (curiously,in this coldweather!) were unlit... This "glow" was needed downstairs in publicareas...otherwise excellent. breakfeast could have being hotter. very nice but our family room was too close to bar and very noisey while children trying to sleep and no restaurant on the saturday night. Lack of facilities within easy walking distance. Too many children up too late interferring with adults relaxation. roooms were a bit cold. However, this year i did think it was fairly dear.€370 with no breakfast or dinner, very steep. the beauty spa was poor wouldn't be in a hurray to go back.ventilation noise in bathroom, bed too soft. Wi fi not available in bedrooms. downstairs noise woke me a couple of times. un supervised children. I did not like the way house keeping just walk into our room without knocking. The food! Both tired we ordered a hamburger from Room service. It was a disgrace. Inedible rubbery, no resemblance to meat. The price was a bitter pill to swallow. If I stay again or recommend, I would avoid the food. A pity. Lets you down.noisy tenants. Breakfast arrangements awful - long queues even at 7am and food was greasy and congealed. There was only one member of staff on duty and it felt churlish to complain to her, she was rushed off her feet.Very unhelpful reception staff, when the internet didn't work she couldn't have cared less and was not interested at all in helping us. She was unfriendly and clearly didn't enjoy her job or dealing with people in general. The restaurant was shut. Only bar meals available. Prices were a bit expensive.The ambience in the dining room in the evening was too dark and no atmosphere - no other people. Reception staff were rude and unhelpful. Bar food was poor and over-priced.there was no attempt by management or staff to control noisy and unruly children.theywere in the lounge/bar too late at night.No entertainment on saturday night as promised.
