    Lettermore Country Home is a small family run Bed and Breakfast. It is clean warm and well presented. I was greeted with a pot of tea and biscuits. My room was clean and very comfortable with ensuite facilities. There was an excellent choice for breakfast. The homemade brown bread was delicious. The owner and her husband are friendly and helpful... what people say » . They insisted on driving me to the train station insuring that I was in time for my Wicklow train. - This is a very well located B&B, that is close to Glendalough, Powerscourt Gardens, and many other attractions in County Wicklow. There are some great restaurants within driving distance. The B&B is clean, and the owner will take great care of you. First night, I actually overslept because it was so peaceful and comfortable.

    Very comfortable guesthouse (including even a small kitchen) with super friendly owners in a beautiful location. Absolutely recommended. - The place was a decent size, clean and in a great setting near a bar and the woods of Wicklow. Would definitely love to back.

    This is a fantastic B&B which I cannot praise enough. I have travelled extensively around the world on business and as a tourist and my experience at Jacob's Well far exceeded most of the accomodation I've had in the past. Helen, the owner was so warm and friendly and went out of her way to ensure I was looked after. I arrived way before the o... what people say » fficial check-in time as I was going to a wedding and even though the B&B was very busy, Helen arranged for me to have a temporary room where I ch - EVERYTHING. This B&B is more like a boutique hotel with the friendliest approach to customers. It was our last night in Ireland and what a treat. Fantastic wrlcome by our hosts. Our room was clean with plenty of room for all of us. The bathroom was big too and with lots of towels. Our hostess Helen was so interested in our travels and when asked if she could point me to a laundry, she took my bag of washing and had it done for me.     I liked the friendly atmosphere and the old world style of the entire interior. I absolutely loved the wide choice on the breakfast menu. I would highly recommend it to anyone both for its location to Glendalough, Clara Lara Fun Park, Avondale House and many other local places of interest. The landlady is very obliging and willing to drive residents to various locations. - Our hostess Daphne was charming and very friendly. She was very hospitable and helpful regarding things to do around town and the surrounding areas. Our room was very comfortable and delightfully decorated as was the whole establishment. Our breakfast each morning was delicious and very satisfying. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and have already recommended this B&B to our friends.

    Tom looked after us very well and made sure we had a great stay , amazing spot close to the Wicklow mountains, we arrived as a group setting out for a hike challenge and this was a perfect spot to stay . - The owner very kindly drove us 5 miles to the hotel of the wedding we were attending.     Lovely 19th century house in a beautiful impressive setting. Really peaceful - didnt hear a sound at night despite it being in full occupancy. Spotlessly clean rooms and very comfy beds. Ashton House's biggest asset however are its lovely hosts - Catriona and Sean. They gave us great recommendations especially for a wonderful restaurant in Rathdrum: Bates. They - Great location 100 yards from the Meeting of The Waters, 200 yards from nearest pub, "The Meetings" (which appears to have a new chef, as we had two very enjoyable small meals there). Roughly four miles from towns of Avoca, and Rathdrum in the opposite direction (had a very enjoyable meal there in Bates Restaurant). Some great walks in the area if you are into that. Both Catriona and Shane in Ashtown House made us feel very welcome (offered us tea when we arrived with a gorgeous banana cake!) H

    We loved the hospitality and friendliness of Barbara and Mick. They could not do enough for us, breakfast was first class and nothing was too much trouble. The entertainment in the lounge on the saturday night was brilliant and the locals were great. - Lovely quiet rural location, next to the Meeting of the Waters at Avoca. The B&B is directly above a pub, which did very nice bar food and was an ideal spot for our evening meal. The twin room was very comfortable and clean and the staff were all very friendly and helpful. The cooked Irish breakfast was delicious and the breakfast room has amazing views out over the waters which really are idyllic.
