I fully enjoyed my stay at the hotel, Limerick doesn't offer very muchbut the hotel made the stay amazing and we stayed only for one night.The room is great, the view is marvellous, the spa is so good. We haddinner at the restaurant the evening and enjoyed it all. The staff isvery polite, I would recommend it to everybody, it makes your holidaybetter eventhough it is only for one night. The staff were excellent and the hotel was super. I had a problem the last time I stayed and they dealt with it very well and made me feel like a valued customer. I am very happy to recomend this hotel!.
all reviews » The hotel offered an all round high standard yet it was relaxing and friendly. An ideal location for a family weekend (as was our weekend) yet seemingly perfect for business events during the week. The Absolute Hotel raises the bar on service, I stayed for 2weeks and will be staying a further 3 and cannot stress how friendly the staff, how great the food is or the amazing location.The quality of the rooms were excellent, the idea of using your keycard for the vending machine as not always do you have change, plus the use of the keycard to use the lift. The Hotel is modern and clean. The staff were excellent and the room was first class. The restaurant was very good and the prices reasonable. The location was great.Very modern, great food in restaurant, huge room, free internet both wired and wifi in rooms, free parking, great value, really can't praise it enough. The entire experience. Friendly staff, good food, excellent facilities. Unfortunately did not manage to take advantage of the Spa experience.The quality of the suite was magnificent. The security measure of the lifts of having to insert the roomcards etcwas both time consuming and annoying.No everything was perfect. No. NA. It would have been helpful to have business centre type facilities. Noise from bar when dining. the parking is awful!!!! drove around for ages looking for parking before returning to the hotel where it had a key to open the multi-story across the road but thats my own fault.Also the frosted glass in the bathroom was a lovely touch to the room unfortunatly guests could be seen through it........Shower ledge to floor was leaking ie tiles were leaning away from the shower, making the floor unavoidably wetter than usual, however the reception staff were happy to take on board this problem and stated it would be seen to asap. The bar food could be improved.service in the restaurant is quite slow, just for cup of tea, however the food was very good. The design of the shower doors - no upstand means lots of water on thefloor. Didn't spoil the wonderful experience though.Directions to the hotel were difficult to obtain, but once we arrived at the hotel, the staff were very helpful regarding parking. Intend to return to stay at hotelwith my partner after cristmas. The bar is a little cramped but there are plenty bars within walking distance. Didn't like the fact that the en-suite door from the bedroom was frosted glass!. The bathroom lacked a bathtub but was otherwise quite fine and comfortable. parking a little bit far. Fancy coffee machine in room didnt work, feel this was not a new problemas it was mentioned in an earlier review and they didnt sound surprisedwhen I called to complain. Very small gym, 1 threadmill only!.

Please note guests must present their credit card on check-in for pre-authorisation. The total amount for the stay and an additional EURO 50.00 per night will be authorised on their card. If no credit card is available then the guests' own debit card must be presented for full prepayment of the stay and no credit facility will be available. Cash payments are not accepted. The onsite free public parking has limited space and is based on a first come, first served basis. It is located on the right hand side before the main entrance of the hotel. A buzzer system is in place to gain access to the car park. Additional parking is available Barrington’s multi-storey car park located just across the road from the Absolute Hotel. Charges applicable and payment must be processed at Barrington's car park ticket machine. Group bookings: Bookings over 5 rooms are subject to our group terms and conditions. A group agreement will be issued at the time of booking and must be signed and returned back to the hotel in order for a group to be considered confirmed. - At the next roundabout take the 3rd exit onto Island road (N7).
- Turn right onto Athlunkard Street (R463) and bear right onto Rutland Street (N20), where you will find the hotel.

From Dublin:
- Continue along the N7 and follow signs for Limerick until entering Lisnagry.
- At the roundabout take the 3rd exit onto Dublin Road (R445) signed Limerick.
- At Annacotty roundabout take the 2nd exit, then at Kilmurry roundabout take 2nd exit again.
- At Groody roundabout take the 2nd exit and at Parkway roundabout take the 3rd exit.
- At the next traffic signals take a right and you will find the hotel.

From Cork:
- Follow signs for the N20 and Limerick.
- On entering Limerick, bear left onto the N20 and at the traffic signals turn right onto Childers Road (R509).
