second visit to this hotel both times got a massive apartment style room great value. receptionist was very professional after a small hiccup on the first stay with the room. will be back in april. Breakfast was fantastic. Staff were extremely efficient. My stay was part of my birthday celebrations and it was as good as I 'd hoped.The food in dillons bar was to lovely, would def go back for a feed there, room were nice. all reviews »
Friendliness of staff.. also the location..centre to everything. The staff were very friendly and helpful. clean. Friendly recpetionist, lovely room and lovely bar. everything it was brilliant. rooms were class and completely spotless. food was lovely staff were so helpfull. id love to stay again. Location, friendly staff,clean big rooms and a good bar. All staff, reception,bar and waitress, were friendly and informative. Breakfast was good. The central location of the hotel is, in my opinion an asset.I thought the service and staff were excelent, food was very good and not expensive an the rooms were spotless even tho they are a bit outdated. Friendly atmosphere and relaxation. It was very quiet. locality. the staff on reception made us feel at ease and helped us with any queries. people were friendly and helpful quite central. breakfast was great. Staff very pleasant. Good location. The bar staff was the highlight of the stay.Reception wasbrilliant also.Everything was up to my expectations. the we stayed in room was a decent size with a kitchen and living area, with all amenities provided. the food is good and the location of the hotel is excelllent being central to all pubs/clubs. Convenient location Clean, welcoming - ease of access The housekeeper did make tea. Staff were great. Very good value. Size of room. it was situated in the centre of the town, close to everything. It was central to the town. residants bar closed to early at half 3. The TV loudspeaker was defective - reported it to reception on checking out. Perhaps it should have been fixed/replaced prior to the room being let!. Quite expensive restaurant food and drink. Perhaps the carpet could have been a bit cleaner, especially near the edges.Otherwise fine. no coffee maker in the room. having to pay to park at the hotel.Hve been to quite a few hotels and have never had to pay. we didn,t arrive until after 4pm yet our rooms were not ready so we had to wait for about 20 mins at reception area. having to pay safety deposit on room. And heard somone on the morning that I arrived booking a room cheaper than i paid and it included breakfast. Service was poor. Toe nails on the floor of the room when we went in?????. Some of the other guests were quite noisy and I could hear the bar from the top floor, although this wasn't a bit problem.
Also thought that having breakfast from 9.00am on Sunday was a little late, as I had paid for it but could not make that time. Noise level generated by hotel revellers. No tea making facilities and to make it worse the remains of where it was were still there - did not add to room. Sink was broken and there was a leak from the toilet.I would like to have been able to have invited my friends into the hotel. Was give the wrong room someone was in the shower when we arrivedat the room. Lift out of order, restaurant not available on both nights had to eat at the bar, and the service was dreadeful, apparently staff did not turn up on the night, and teception staff were called in to help, with no restaurant experience. When booking the hotel we asked for breakfast aswell however on arrival we decided that 24 euros for breakfast was quite expensive therefore informed staff we wouldn't be wanting any. We were informed this was not possible to 'cancel' breakfast and we would have to pay.The lift was out of order for several days. Despite the information in the room stating that bar food was available until 9:45 each night, the kitchen was closed around 7:30/8:00pm. Stale smell of cigarette in room. No kettle to make tea. No wireless internet service, wired connection was later provided.

Travelling information
By Car:
- From the South of Ireland, take the N15 from Sligo, the N14 from Lifford or the N13 from Derry.
- These 3 roads converge at the Dry Arch roundabout, where you should follow the dual carriageway to the end.
- At the roundabout, take the 2nd exit, follow through to the 2nd roundabout and take the 2nd exit.
- At the top of the hill, continue past through the traffic lights.
- The hotel is situated on the left-hand side of the Main Street, next to the ACC Bank.
Car parking is available just past the ACC Bank on route to the hotel.
By Plane:
Donegal Airport is one hour’s drive away, whilst Derry Airport is a 30 minute drive. There are service flights from Dublin to both airports.
By Train:
Iarnrod Eireann operates a service from Rosslare and Dublin to Sligo. Northern Ireland Rail operates a service from Belfast to Derry. You can connect to Letterkenny from both stations via the Bus Eireann coach service.
