  I really enjoyed our stay the staff were excellent the only thing was the restaurant was fully booked and i understand why so we had to eat in the bar instead, the food there was beautiful and i was so surprised at how affordable it was for the quality that was on our plates, will definitely go back, lovely atmosphere by day and evening yet so pea... what people say » ceful by night. 3 star is correct for the rooms but as they were clean it mad for a really comfortable stay and the outdoor area was beautiful, look f - The hotel is so cosy, and as soon as we walked into the reception area there was a great buzz of activity about the place.Staff are very friendly and helpful, food is fantastic.´ It´s in a perfect location and after a long walk the next day it was so tempting to request a room for another night. Will definitely be coming back.

  The lady that takes care of the house (Erica) is very friendly and takes care thoroughly of her guests. When you arrive she offers you to stay in the common room which is very comfy and nicely decorated, and recover from the journey having tea or coffee, next to the chimney. I highly recommend this visi - A lovely place to stay. The accommodation is very nice, but is about 2 km from the town. Meals and breakfast are at the restaurant in the town. However, the manager is more than happy to arrange transport to and from the restaurant. We had breakfast and dinner at the restaurant the 2 nights we were there. The food was very good.   Chris Allen and his family do a wonderful job. The rooms are huge and very comfortable. A separate guest entrance is very handy. The breakfast was delicious and very hospitably served. Chris made excellent suggestions for walks to Glendalough and also arranged for a restaurant (wonderful inn) to pick us up for dinner so we didn't have to eithe... what people say » r drive (after a pint) or walk on the dark road. The building is quite new and attractive and convenient to Glendalough, but outside of the busiest a - Chris, the owner, was a lovely host. Very helpful and kind. The breakfasts were great -- traditional Irish breakfast, in a beautiful sitting room with a view to their gardens and the river. The location is perfect -- right in Laragh but quiet and peaceful, walking distance to Glendalough lakes and the beautiful pathways. I will definitely stay again with my family and friends and recommend to anyone going to the area!

  Thanks to Carmel for all the attention she gave to us. We felt like at home. I'd suggest to put a microwave available for guest, but Carmel was very kind to all our requests. Great variety of menu for breakfast (smoked salmon with scrambled eggs were delicious) - Very friendly, welcoming Irish B&B.
