My sister and I stayed for five days in this lovely comfortable home of a very frinedly lady, food and detail to our every need was given. Just enough distance from the town which was just a short straight drive from the beautiful town of Killarney, a most enjoyable holiday. I have no hesitation in recommending the Glendanle House. My mother and I were staying to enjoy the area and Glendale House was perfect. Ann was very friendly and helpful; the room was lovely with a view over fields at the back and the en-suite was perfectly clean. Breakfast was lovely with plenty of choice and Ann went out of her way to serve whatever was suitable for her guests.
all reviews » A wonderful bed and breakfast with good acess to Killarney national park and a great starting point for a drive around the Ring of Kerry. The Glendale House's atmosphere and welcoming owners made it feel like home even though it was only a one night stay. The owner was very nice and helpful. The room and bathroom were extremely clean. It was also well situated between Killarney and the airport, so we didn't have far to drive into Killarney for dinner or to the airport the next morning. The owner couldn't have made me more welcome. Nice quiet location. Great value and breakfast kept me going all day. Bedroom was nice and warm. Nice treat. Kind person. Beautiful house. Really clean. Perfect breakfast and attention. Handy location. Really confortable mattress. It was neat and tidy.and the house owner was very humble,polite and welcoming. There was nothing to dislike. WiFi wasn't working on that days. Nothing in particular. - Location a few kilometers out of the town - Wireless Internet did not reach to our room. Heating was switched on only for 2 hours daily and it was too cold sometimes. Breakfast not bad but no beans (we got it when asked for it). Teapot didn't work properly. The room felt a bit damp....and it was a bit cramped. We had to take a taxi into town, which added to the expense. - Quite some distance from Killarney (would not advice to walk) - noisy road but not too loud. Heavy traffic noise at night Shower a bit on the small size. The Queen size bed was not so. The double room barely fit the bed in - there was no cupboard or drawer space. The en suite bathroom was far too small. The cooked breakfast was served on side plates for some strange reason. I found a musty smell in our room ensuite very small no soap.bad value for money.
