This is the best hostel I have ever stayed in. I did a 5 week Europe trip and this hostel was my absolute favorite. It is in a perfect location, steps to trinity college and a block from temple bar. It is so clean and comfortable! The bed linens were starch white and comfy. Underneath all the beds are rolling drawer cages that lock which keeps all your valuables safe. The kitchen area is awesome too! Free breakfast! The staff was nice and very helpful. I love this place!.
all reviews » The location is unbeatable. Walking distance to almost everywhere in central Dublin. Really a good value for money for budget travelers. The free luggage room (to store our bags before check-in time or after check out time) is much appreciated. Bathroom is spacious. Had a great time meeting fellow multi-nationalities roommates (2 German, 2 Spaniard, 1 Irish and 1 Japanese). Great, friendly hostel in the centre of Dublin. Staff were really friendly and helpful. Well located, close to temple bar area, trinity college, and short walk to Dublin Castle. Breakfast included (toast, cereal, tea, coffee, juice). Nice clean rooms and bathroom. I stay here a lot when I am in Ireland. I like that there is an on site laundry, free wifi, nice kitchen facilities, free breakfast, towel rental and it's close to bus and train access as well as being close to all the places in the city. the bar next to it, it is in the center of the city, the staff was very friendly and they allow us to leave our bags in the luggage room and it was very helpful. The breakfast was OK you can buy your food and cook without any problem. Honestly I didn't spend much time there but the time I did was great and the staff were lovely folk and the rooms are kept in excellent addition. I think I may have a favourite hostel for when I'm in Dublin now XD. Value for money was excellent, room was absolutely perfect for what we needed and the hotel was close enough to the main bars to walk but far enough that if you wanted to stay in you weren't kept awake!. The location of course. Also the rooms (i stayed in two different rooms) was really ok - clean and good showers. the matrasses could be better, but we are not in a 5-star suite, so no complains really. staff were helpful and friendly, good value for private ensuite room, location was brilliant for temple bar, trinity college, grafton street etc. Great location. You can easily reach some popular places in the city. And is not far from airport bus stop. The staff are nice and helpful. The location of the hostel is very good and it is located by an Irish pub which is very cool. They have a free breakfast that I approved. Nice and comfy room for the price. I'll explain what I mean - as a tourist i did not know, that on fridays & saturdays there's a lot of people coming to Dublin, and all the hostels gets booked ahead, and the prices are very different. If I was given this information by the staff I could have planned my trip a little better. Because of that I needed to change my place of staying 3 times. But again - it's not a big deal. located near to a pub/club and so expect noise till early hours, but to be expected given the location. take your own towel or pay to hire one!!. A little bit noisy. The sounds of passing vehicles last all night long. You need ear plugs for a nice sleep. The hostel name is not well written and it was a little bit difficult to find at night. If I HAD to pick something, it would be that the common room/kitchen was always too full of people. On the other hand if you're there to socialize that's not a bad thing. That room was a bit small but it was fine. Noisy during the day and night. My advice is to bring your oun earplugs. no lockers in room. There is not elevator, so it is hard for me to take my luggage to upstairs. Wi-Fi is not good in the kitchen, and even can not be connected in my own room. The beds were a bit too close together It would be better if there was a same sex policy in the rooms. almost paid twice but a clever girl spotted the mistake. Our room looked into the area between the buildings, which was dirty and full of garbage. The room was very noisy at night from others in the hostel and the bar below. could have had peanut butter at the table. I was very pleased with the hostel. everything was allright. no bad experience. The bed could be better. Too noisy at night. noise pub under window, no wardrobe in room. Not so clean, lockers are not enough. 暂无. nothing really. Bed could be a bit better. No big deal. none. Bed sheets were clean, but not the bathroom and the floor. The kitchen was really filthy and crowded at times. Noisy at night after 11pm, especially weekend, drunk people shouting outside hostel. No wifi in room, need to go all the way down to reception/kitchen. Booked for en-suite bathroom, bathroom is not within the room. Dirty, no housekeeping at all. Same dirt after we came back days later, obviously no cleaning has been done since we left. Felt disappointed when the basic services is not given with the price we paid. room cleaning and breakfast. Although I knew it was/is a hostel I paid hotel prices for it. The bunk beds creaked like mad with every small movement and the shower was vastly under powered and wasn't attached to the wall (so one hand taken up holding the darned thing). As a hostel - great, but then don't charge hotel prices. very noisy during the night. a lot of drunk people talking loudly and slamming doors during the night. We couldn`t sleep. Despite the facilities of the building being old and seems with no maintenance, also with many narrow stairs and corridors to reach the room, the room itself is not bad. Noisy, especially during weekends. Can hear people shouting on the street after 11pm-3am, and cigerrate smoke from outside to the room. We booked ensuite bath room, but it was actually out of the room. Dirty floor, no house keeping service. Same rubbish still on the floor, before and after we checked in again, even after 6 days. Obviously it was not being cleaned since we left. Price, die not get ensuite bathroom, not very clean. The stairs to get to the rooms. I said the worst bed was the one I had at euro hostel Edinburgh but that was because I didn't tried this one!! I felt like I was sleeping in a U skate ramp. The most uncomfortable bed I could ever have!. Everything,got a private room not worth the money. the emploees should know city sightseeing information and transportion ticket price about thier country.
