Yes it was very positive for me the staff offer me every assistance when I ask them. They offer great service to me through out. my stay. and when I rang to confirm my stay with them and told them that I had made a mistake in my booking. They change it for me with no bother. And as I explained in my book that I had a disability they had my disability room ready. It was quite close to the lift.And when I pointed out some improvements that could be made to the disability room they seem willing to .
all reviews » It is a quiet hotel ideally located close to the city centre but far enough from it. Rooms were spotless facilities better than expected and staffed by very friendly staff. Well run well managed. I had to stay an extra night but the staff were superb and it was no more than a stroke of a pen and I was sorted. Well done to the owners excellent hotel. Location, Size of hotel, very quiet, despite being situated on very busy thoroughfare. Clean, warm, comfortable, very pleasant staff. All in all, great value for the product on offer. The location is good, very near the Huston train station and LUAS. There are many bars and restaurants near the hotel as well, and a SPAR. It is very convenient. A less than comfortable bed, and the bedside light switch was so high over the bed you had to climb up to turn it on/off. The credit card machine was out of order and I was asked for cash!. Wifi doesn't work in the rooms. TV was small and poorly positioned Room was a bit too warm. The bathroom wasn't great. The shower didn't drain properly, the toilet roll holder was hanging off the wall and the toilet seat was broken. We arrived at 12.30 and we were told our room wouldn't be ready until after 3.30. We went out for a couple of hours and arrived back ready to get a shower but there was no towels, so we rand reception and they said they were still in the dryer!! We were running late enough as it was and had to wait a bit longer for towels. They arrived after 5pm!. Very limited breakfast choice on hotel menu,not everyone likes the full Irish,no cereals or fruit or juices on offer.I Would eat breakfast out if I stayed again.Slept with both windows open as room was a bit stuffy so had to endure noise from an air conditioning unit outside during the night. nothing. rooms were very small but bathrooms a good size. Rooms were a bit cold but OK. No wifi. Bathroom window couldn't be closed. Had to ask for a bedside light. I expected one at each side of a double bed and one side of a single bed, not one only in the room. It was remedied but took awhile. In the morning seemed to be some disagreement over which staff member was to deal with checkout so took a longer than expected time. everything was first class. A bit remote from City centre. I was hoping for Irish bread (soda, potato, wheaten) in the fried breakfast. No dinner in restaurant. Heating in room erratic. a bit haphazard but in a funny happy way. Only 2 power points in b/room,(206) one of which did not take plug. Waitress suggested earth point might have been blocked by continentals using 2 pin plugs. There wasn't a fridge in the room.Not so important any way... had no bad experience. No complaints!!. Parking was limited. Room was cold when we arrived. Nothing. Poor flow of water from the shower and room was a bit on the cramped side. Also bed tho' comfortable to sleep in was a bit like being on a boat when you try to turn over. Unfortunately the breakfast was not nice.
