We loved the Dublin 1 Apartments! It was right around the corner walking to the Temple Bar Area and we were 3 women coming home late at night and felt very safe in the neighborhood. Nancy and Kevin were so friendly and made us feel right at home. They gave us great advice on everything! Including shopping and flying tips for Ryan Air. They even kept a few of our bags while we flew to Scotland for a week! They were very generous and we so appreciated all they did for us. We will definitely stay .
all reviews » Staff member was wonderful. We got there a earlier than booking in time and she offered to let us drop off our baggage so we could go sight seeing. She showed us how to use hot water, heating and telly - which really helped us have a comfortable stay. The apartment was clean and had everything we needed. It was right next to the Academy and so it was a wonderful central local to everything. We loved Dublin and know that the location of the apartment added to that. Thank you so much. We stayed here for 3 nights. This apartment is quite clean and located in the almost city centre literally. Wi-fi is available in most of the area and it was very helpful for us travelers who do not always have Internet connection. Cookware was also available so I enjoyed the meal with my friends - it was the best moment in the trip! The owners were really friendly. Thank you very much. The apartments were well located and extremely close to everything we wanted i.e. bars, restaurants, shops etc. The apartments were very comfortable and had everything we needed. I have to say that the service provided by the staff was excellent; they were so welcoming and nothing was too much trouble and were genuinely happy to help us, would definitely stay here again!. I love every single thing about this apartment. We got the modern one around the corner. It's so closed to the shopping area, literally just few steps away. The owner and the staff are brilliant! The apartments were immaculate and had every facility that we required. They were central to everything. Five mins from Temple Bar, two mins from the town. Brilliant location. There is storage for your bags if you leave early. The owner was so welcoming and friendly. The owner kevin was so helpfull to our family he will help you with anything to make your stay the best it can be!! The location is great. The apartments are all modern and maintained very well. These apartments have to be one of the best in dublin. The Nancy and Kevin were very helpful and super friendly. The 2 bedroom basement apartment was comfy, nicely furnished, clean and seemed new. Not a place for one who wants to sleep, although beds were amazingly comfy. The proprietor was wonderful and spent time with us on city insight and locations. Kevin and Derek were extremely friendly and welcoming and the location was amazing for my hen do. They allowed us to stay late in the apartment until 5 which was really kind. They also booked us into the local hotel on our arrival due to a leak but compensated us with breakfast. We were moved back the following day. The room was spotless and comfortable. The location and price was fantastic and it really is 2 mns from temple bar, and all the sights. I would definitely reccommend it for groups. . Neither bathroom had locks Having tea pots was good but without tea cosies, their usefulness is limited. Sofa bed needs repair. There was no lift to take disabled people up stairs . Noisy street. A bit run-down, but comfy and clean. Close to all night disco No elevator. Nothing.. The drains in the bathroom smelt at times, this was reported to the manager who was to address the problem. The only thing that didn't run smoothly was the taxi service. They turned up late, and didn't bring a car big enough, even though it was previously requested and confirmed! As well as this they tried to charge us on a metre price, when a pre-arranged price had been arranged. The bin hadn't been emptied from the previous residents and there was some out of date chicken on the fridge-only minor issue as easily thrown out. Nothing at all. Noisy next-door neighbours Nowhere to hang wet towels or toilet bags etc in tiny bathroom. Basement apartment was noisy all night with overhead voices and foot traffic. Wooden table was sticky. Missing lift. The only disadvantage was the water- 6 girls on a hen weekend and the water was only warm for 2 or 3 before going cold. I would say this was the only negative(no lift and we had very heavy suitcases but thats our fault!). Booked early and due to currency exchange rate when we paid on arrival it was an extra £22 on the bill which was annoying and wish we could have been charged at the rate when booked. Some noise but then it is in the city center so would expect this. Dublin itself was very expensive especially eating out. Nearby club means it's noisy. Sofa in the lounge is possibly the most uncomfortable thing I have ever sat on. Not to leave any tea bags, sugar and just two milky coffee sachets (I drink black coffee) when you're paying over £100 a night is just plain mean. The apartment was really dirty, dark and several things didn't work including the dryer and the water heater timer. Both security doors to the building stuck open. While the location was really central- it was also VERY noisy at night as the drunks walked by. Need repairs in bathroom. Better to have more utensils in kitchen. Bed needed replacing, was very uncomfortable. Sofa was broken No tea or coffee was provided, we were given some tea when we asked for it however a used tea bag was in the bottom. Kitchen utensils / equipment was poor.
