What people say
Beautiful rooms, full kitchen and living room, balcony, so close to nightlife, 24hour reception....And all for €23 each for 5 people?? Simply cannot go wrong! I live in Dublin and a taxi home at night would cost as much. Will be booking soon again!! =). We had small children it was so easy for them to relax not like hotel where you constantly telling them to be quiet. The Apartments were well situated close to Temple Bar, Christchurch, Grafton Street and the city center. all reviews »
The location was excellent and the staff were very helpful and friendly. The position, price and the room was lovely. Vicinity - no noise from other guests. The Front Desk staff at check-in was extremely helpful. The gentleman for p.m. shift was very friendly and informative! Thanks!!!! Loved the apartment. When in Dublin, will choose Christchurch Hall Apartments again. Loved the room and the view. We also loved the fact that the Tour Bus stop was right outside our door. Internet access and printer use was fantastic!. Immediately impressed by the two bedrooms, lounge, kitchen and bathroom and the quality and choice of fittings and furniture. Location was fantastic - easy walk to Temple Bar district and corner shop just around the corner for supplies!. The apartment was excellent - modern, spacious with its own small balcony. The location cannot be faulted - 5 minutes walk from Temple Bar whilst enjoying the benefit of a quiet atmosphere. Cannot recommend it enough. I really enjoyed my recent stay in these apartments. They were so central to everything. The apartment itself was amazing and very good value for money. I would stay there again and also recommend to a friend. The appartement was everuthing I expected and more. It provided all the thing needed for stay. It looked new, the beds were comfortable, and the heat was efficiant It was clean and close to the center. easy access to everything in Dublin. Nice stylish and cheap. Overall fantastic, I would stay there again and recommend it to anyone.was very good as we had the kids with us... ideal. Location, the usefulness of having all your home comfort on holiday ie dvd player, tumble dryer, iron. Very clean, modern apartments with a great central location. Excellent value for money. Within walking distance of the centre, yet quiet enough to sleep. The location and the price was really good. We were moved to an alternative apartment at St Augustine. The apartment was superb and in a brilliant location and much cheaper for 2 couples than any hotal in the area. I would really recommend it.Refurbished rooms are very nice. We had booked 1 2 bed and 1 1bed but were given 2 2beds so we had plenty of space. The rooms were side by side. very central, friendly staff. plenty of space in apartment. excellent value for money. It was very homely as it was an appartment we felt very relaxed and comfortable. i liked the central location and the luxurious apartment setting. clean and comfy apartments - location excellent. Convenient location for city attractions.Quite spacious and modern.Good kitchen and bathroom. The location was handy to the luas. great location, beautiful apartment, was able to do laundry in suite and take a bath, something that doesn't happen all that easily in Europe.Very clean apartment. however did smell of smoke on arrival! Great location only a brisk walk from Temple Bar and Grafton Street. It was convenient location, clean and good size apartment.I liked the convenience and value. the position, comfort. location. Location is excellent. Staff friendly and helpful e.g. able to leave luggage, calling a taxi.Great location. We stayed at St. Andrews--it was close to the river and if the hotelstaff knew where they were located we could have gotten around better. The room was great for a family. The washer was convenient, but none of the staff knew how to work it. Rooms were clean, although lots of broken things and they had supposedly just remodeled the place.2 double bed in seperate rooms, new and nice furniture (except the bathroom). Nice location, great, large apartment. convenience. The apartment upgrade due to the original booking not being available was spacious and well presented.Size of apartment for 3 people , two rooms plus lounge area and kitchen was excellent!. Nice, convenient apartment. Good kitchen. The apartment was clean and well furnished. The hot water, the pressure of the shower. It would have been helpful if the Front Desk had currency for change, etc. Also, maps of the city would be great, maybe print-outs?. I wasn't too keen on the area. It seemed a little rough, however I did not come across any encounters, thankfully.I felt the apartments should have been cleaned whilst we stayed, at least towels should have been changed and rubbish collected. It was not made clear to us where we could deposit rubbish but these are minor details. car parking. The heating wasn't very well explained, ie no heat in the main room til 10pm and your expected to wash your dishes before you go but they don't provide washing up liquid, which most people don't take on holiday. Staff were a little unhelpful / unfriendly, but it didn't really matter to be honest!. I would have liked some tea, coffee and milk in the apartment. It would have made the morning a lot easier. checking out at eleven is a bit early twelve is more the norm and payin 10 euro for every hour after eleven was a bit unfair. Our shower was broken on arrival and we had a very quick turn around time to get 3 people ready using the same bathroom. However, we were given the option to move room and we didn't have time for this so we just used the shower of that room. We were happy enough that the hotel did all they could to help but I did feel that we could have been offered a slight discount because of the hassle. there was no room service and there was no onfo in the rooms about check in - check out hotel facilities etc...Some traffic noise in spite of double glazing.Sofa bed difficult to use and not comfortable.Needs replacing. The fact that the bathroom door was much too narrow for wheelchair access. Not double glazed and not for people who want a quiet nights sleep -It's a city!. There was something very wrong with the plumbing. The water cistern was overheating so much that the steam overflow was heating up the cold tank to such an extent that warm water was coming out of the cold taps and the toilet flush. The shower controls were unusual to say the least. And there were no instructions to explain this very unusual arrangent. This rather spoiled our stay.Lack of ventilation in bathroom. Strange heating and water system in the apartment. The water. As stated above the shower situation took hours and everyonegot a warm to cool shower. Even though it was a two bed water is onlyfor 1.5 people. Also, no towels the first day! It was a bank holiday andmanagement did not think we needed towels for over 24 hours. About 1/2 of the hotel staff were very unfriendly and uninformed. The internet was very slow and did not work 1/2 the time so it was not worth the money. The beds in the 2nd bedroom were very uncomfortable and my son had to sleep on the couch. The first night we were kept up by very noisy, drunk guests next door. Our sheets and towels were not changed the entire stay.Less than helpful staff, didn't seem to care that things were falling apart. We didin't like the bathroom at all, it was very oldish and the cupboard where they stored the towels was disgustung. Also it would be handy if they would have at least one or two socket-adopter as people come from different countries.while we liked having a corner apartment with the mice views it afforded us, the street noise got loud sometimes. Also, two of the three nights we were there, my husband was woken up by drunken arguing. Finally, we could not enter the building without buzzing the hotel desk and often no one was at the desk to let us in. shower water pressure poor and lack of air circulation in bathroom, made it smell of damps all that i could moan about. Bathroom facilities: apartment for 5 people, however only hot showers for 2 at a time. The apartment location. As room was on main road there was a lot of traffic fromm road noise which was not cut off by closing windows!. Some of the staff not so friendly. One girl was very nice. Too hard 140 cm double bed. (Asked for twin beds when we booked). A bed mattress on top (like everyone in Sweden have) should had given us a better sleep and less back pain. Heavy traffic outside was disturbing during the nights.Room was not cleaned dailey. The staff who were unhelpful. We arrived in the middle of the night - the guy at reception sent us to a room which already had guests staying in it and we walked in on them. Very bad service.local drunks hanging round the back of the hotel all day, using the garden as a toilet. staff on night duty was very rude.
