  This bed and breakfast was probably one of the nicest and friendliest I have ever stayed.in.The location is really beautiful overlooking the blue stack mountains. My room was very spacoius and had everything you needed.Just loved it. Sheila met us with her hilarious personality!. She borrow me a book !!! ( Sheila I am going to return it with an aditional one!!). We very much enjoyed the stay. The breakfast, especially, was marvelous, an absolute abundance of food. Wonderful experience incredible and completely homemade. The Gap Lodge was extremely clean and Sheilla was beyond friendly.   As accomplished travelers in overseas countries, this was far and away the best stay we ever had in a B&B. The house is new and designed as a B&B. It is impeccably appointed with furniture, rugs, pictures and knickknacks that fit it. The breakfast was fantastic, choice of traditional Irish Breakfast, Omelets, French toast with real mapl... what people say » e syrup, etc. Served with freshly baked Madelines! The views of the lake and the beautifully landscaped gardens are great. They also have a large as - If you travel through Ireland, then you have to stay at the Ardeevin Guesthouse. This place is just magnific. The rooms are very big, very well furnished and clean. The owner were really kind and helpful, and we enojoyed their friendliness throuhout our stay. Breakfast was delicious. We had some toasts and then the full Irish breakfast, which was perfect. Plus, they also served the most delicious scones we ever had. We really recommend staying here if you pass through Donegal (and you should).

We went to Donegal to visit Slieve League and its an ideal location to stay and visit the city. Rooms were clean and very comfortable with a well-served breakfast.
