This hotel is one of the best i have ever stayed in. The staff dont have to make an effort to make you feel welcome, it comes naturally to them, they were so polite and helpful. The room we stayed in (Executive) was out of this world, it was deff value for money and i would reccomend anyone a stay here, they wont want to go anywhere else! The food was excellent and the service was fab 10/10.

If the world was ending next week this is where i'd like to spend my last days.I loved the whole set up, the surroundings, the staff, the food, it was just what we needed, complete relaxation. Next time I hope to stay in the fabulous Executive Suite which has to be seen to be believed. room was fantastic - pure luxury, setting was beautiful, food was excellent and staff were very helpful and friendly, will definitely be back!. The location is serene and relaxing. The restaurant was superb! Very attentive, knowledgeable staff. It was an opportunity to experience total relaxation in idyllic surroundings.Very friendly and efficient staff who went out of their way to be helpful. The relaxing atmosphere and friendly staff; did not want to leave. location and lake view. Beautiful landscape. Stayed in the least expensive Courtyard rooms, but feel they are best as excellent view of Lough Eske right outside room door. Request a room facing Lough. Would have stayed for longer if I could have.The high standard of facillities at the hotel, the food was excellent, the staff were well trained, very friendly and helpfull, the location was idyllic. We were upgraded to an executive room and it was beautiful. Breakfast was delicious and the service was great.Great setting, great restaurant, fantastic rooms. Restful, no children, helpful staff. sheer luxury!. executive bedroom was superb!. Hotel room -first class. the friendliness and helpfulness of staff. The quality of furnishings in the bedrooms and bathrooms and in the hotel in general. Position, helpfulness of staff, entertainment. Location,relaxing atmosphere,good entertainment,excellent bedroomsuites...Execllent food and service. I thought the hotel and view was pleasant enough in general in hind sight. No gym. no. No pool or leisure facilities. check in. bedroom was not ready at 3pm. Restaurant was excellent but service was terrible. the hotel is situated in a beautiful location but the access road from the main road is very poor and badly signposted. Disapointing three star breakfast - with little or no service. A limiteddinner menu especially as at least three items were not available thatevening. Very slow Dining room service - we went to our table at 8.30and had our coffee in the lounge at 11.05. There was damp leaking from the roof at the bar, and at the back of the hall at the wedding, to be honest the reputation of the hotel exceeded the reality, i found the outside room i stayed not properly explained, and the room door backing off directly to the elements wasnt very nice, the receptionist couldnt get the door to open when we arrived and had to run for assistance..

Pets are allowed but please contact the property to make arrangements. Contact details can be found on your booking confirmation. The Lakeside Restaurant will be closed every Sunday between 01 November 2016 and 05 March 2017. Food will still be served in Harvey's Bar on Sundays between 12:30 and 21:00.

The rooms have been designed to give the guests’ personalised luxury and privacy with details down to the depth of our sunken baths and king size beds.
Each room is decorated to give the guest a feeling of lavish comfort and space. All have a large bathroom enough to fit 2, with 2 wash basin and tiled from wall to ceiling in Italian marble.

Travelling information

From Letterkenny, N15: - When travelling from Letterkenny through Ballybofey and Barmesmore Gap, you will see a pub (Biddys O’Barnes) to your left. - Continue on for another 5 km and you will see a signpost on your right for Harvey’s Point. - Turn right and follow the finger signpost for another 5 km. From Sligo, N15: Travelling from Sligo through Ballyshannon and Laghy, continue through the junction for Donegal Town, heading for Lifford and Killybegs. - You will arrive at a roundabout. Take the 3rd exit for Lifford and Derry. - Continue on this road for another 1.5 km. You will see Clar Chapel on your right. - Opposite, on your left, is a signpost and road to Harvey’s Point. Turn left and follow the signpost for Harvey’s Point - another 5 km.
