This apartment was a fantastic find! We go to Clifden a few times a year. We have found now with two kids we are very restricted in a hotel room, but its very expensive (and usually impossible) to get a holiday rental for less than a week. The apartment is spotlessly clean, modern, well decorated, central to everything in town and yet totally quiet. Kids loved it, having their own bedroom was great, and TV with good range of channels and DVD was great for times we were in the apartment. Ther.
all reviews » We loved the central location of t b house, we had access to everything, supermarket, restaurants, pubs etc The apartment was fabulous with every modern convenience. A very short drive took us to mountains and beautiful countryside. Our stay was short but we plan to return... we had a penthouse, one twin and one double bedroom, double had actually lovely king size or super king size bed and en-suite bathroom, all new, fresh and clean, access to great balcony on the top of the building, we had really lovely and comfortable stay, thank you!. The location and the general layout of the apartment was fantastic. It was very clean and comfortable. Would like to stay again if we go back to Clifden and hopefully the weather will allow us to make use of the roof terrace!. Modern, perfectly located apartment. Very clean, spacious. Dump patches on the ceiling, but we were told that the workman is already booked. The fact that after a day out we came back to NO HOT WATER for a shower and freshen up prior to going out for dinner. We don't see the point of only having water hearting at night. We had quick, freezing showers which for a 3 year old and 2 adults getting over chest infections was not good!!. not enough cooking utensils. Would like to ha e off street parking . If I brought my bike I would be worried about street parking !. Communication could have been better about what to do when we arrived. Nothing. none. There was nothing I didn't like. Nothing. dirty glasses hard to clean. Smell on arrival, it was stronger in the bathroom, you could see damp spots. Nothing. no lifts, no air conditioner. Only down side was rusting shower bracket on raiser broke and door entrance handle damaged. Apartment is on the second floor (3 flights of stairs) but no lifts. Problem when traveling with suitcases. Parking is on the street which is Pay & Display between 1130 & 1800.
