  The location is superb, with fabulous views of the little harbour from our second floor room. Evening meal and breakfast were wonderful, and there were even linen napkins at breakfast. I also liked the fact that breakfast was served until 10.30. - Lovely spacious room with beautiful view of Baltimore Harbour.

  To begin with we were offered a choice of two rooms, one was quite large, but the smaller of the two rooms had a wonderful view of the coast that we just couldn't pass up. The hostess wanted to make sure that we would be comfortable in the smaller room, and it was a bit cramped, but that view was fantastic. If you are in one of the rooms that does... what people say » n't have a window facing the water you can sit in the front room on comfortable leather couches and enjoy the view. We enjoyed tea and scones in the f - Marguerite is very welcoming and helpful. Well organised establishment. Views across to Baltimore harbour and Mount Gabriel from our room were incredible. Restaurants etc are easily accessible and Skibbereen a short drive away with more shops and eateries. We went out on a Whale watching trip from Baltimore which Marguerite kindly booked for us, would definitely recommend this trip. Would use this B&B again if in the area.

  I was pleasantly surprised when I arrived. First thing that struck me was that the photo advertisement and the actual rooms were the same! We hadn't booked breakfast but the hotel supplies lovely hot scones and brown bread in the morning. Tea & coffee available as was jam, butter fresh fruit and a small amount of cereal! It s a quiet peaceful ... what people say » place but just a couple of minutes walk from restaurants bars and the local shop. Also met housekeeping who couldn't do enough to ensure our room had - Very comfortable and spacious. We enjoyed having a refrigerator in the room. Very nice place. They were able to accommodate us for an additional night, which we appreciated.

  The cottage was great value for money. Had everything you would need for a longer stay, was clean and tastefully decorated. The hotel has a lovely restaurant and the breakfast was wonderful.
