  We stayed here for two nights and loved everything about the place; from the warm welcome and hospitality from the staff and owners, the beautiful scenery and fantastic food. We will be returning again as it was one of the most relaxing stays in a hotel we have had, but it's also situated on the edge of a lake and surrounded by leisurely forest wa... what people say » lks and more testing hill walks. They took great care of us and we will be back. - The Gougane Barra Hotel is the real deal. A family hotel entering its fifth generation, maintaining very high standards of genuine hospitality and service combined with super cleanliness. They love what they do, take pride in serving great local produce in a spectacularly beautiful location- feeding the body, nourishing the spirit. We hated leaving, look forward already to return visits.

  Absolutely everything. Friendly, helpful and warm reception. Lovely house. Very clean. In view of the secluded position an evening meal is also available. Large choice of breakfasts. Definitely value for money. One of the best B&B's we stayed in. - We had a wonderful night at Cronin's B&B.
