  Kilmaneen was a wonderful glimpse of life in the Irish country side in an out of the way, peaceful and serene piece of rural Ireland. Kevin and Bernadette made us feel very welcome in their warm and homely environment. The fresh berries picked straight from the garden are a delight and it is very hard not to be greedy with them! It's a great base ... what people say » for exploring areas around as we did especially Cahir and Cashmel but the little villages around are also delightful. All in all, a really important p - Friendly welcome, from really wonderful hosts, had home made cake and coffee on arrival. The best breakfast we've ever had.....fresh muffins, brown bread, scones, jams, yogurt, all home made. Also figs, raspberries and peaches from the farm's garden, all this before a beautiful cooked breakfast. I was kindly given a large bag of tomatoes on departure. Calm, peaceful, wonderful place to stay

  I asked for a quiet room and we got it. It was large and comfortable with proper adult sized beds and an excellent ensuite. Breakfast was freshly prepared and very good. Location excellent; along the river with a view of the mountains- ideal. - This place has a very welcome feeling and staff are most helpful.   Nice restaurant; lovely breakfast; friendly, helpful staff; town centre location, everything spotless - every room, bathroom, stairs, tiolet, carpet, plate, knife and spoon. Well done especially to the extremely hard working cleaning lady - who vacuumed, wiped and mop from the top floor to the basement every day - and still made time for a hello, ... what people say » a smile and an enquiry as to how you were enjoying your visit to Clonmel. - Hi. My room was very quiet. No noise. Bed single. Maybe a bit small but still very comfortable. The view from my window was good .. . . . even though I was in the middle of the town. The church was across from my window and very relaxing to sit and admire the structure. The waitress in dining was very courteous and meal service was very good. Meal was excellent.

  The guesthouse is in a beautiful, historic building, and its spacious rooms have been maintained and furnished with utmost care. It was a pleasure to stay in. The friendliness and genuine hospitality we encountered was second to none.   Clean warm rooms helpfull pleasent staff. Booked room only for two nights had breakfast on the first morning which was lovely, we received an emergency phone call from home and had to check out after one night explained this at reception and they very kindley only charged us for one night and did not charge us for the breakfast. Just like to say ... what people say » thank you to the Hearnes hotel staff. - Very helpful and friendly staff. Clean bedding and towels,lovely hot water and excellent breakfast every morning. Perfect location for touring. Good, free car parking, we stayed for 7 nights and we were warned about a late disco which was not as late as we're used to. Good value for money and would visit again.

  The efficiency and friendliness of the staff. The hotel is situated in its own grounds and overlooks the river which is very pleasant. Also, the hotel is very easy to get to and is very quiet and peaceful. - Rooms clean and adequate. Food and service in restaurant was good. Nice pool in Leisure centre. Friendly staff.
