  The beds were very comfortable, expected a single bed but had a 2 double beds instead, really powerful shower and lovely white fluffy towels. Staff were all so helpful and really , nothing was too much even though the were so busy as the hotel had a wedding for over 250 guest....... they coped remarkable and nothing was compromised for the other g... what people say » uests. Food was very good and plenty of choices. Very relaxed lobby and WiFi throughout for free! Will be back and would recommend this hotel for a re - We arrived at 9 pm at last minute as it was getting late and had two more hours driving to get home . The staff were so helpful , they ran around searching for a travel cot for our two year old and despite the kitchen being closed got us toasted sandwiches and chips . We could not believe how helpful they all were and I will be mailing them to thank them once again .

  We couldn't have been more impressed with Sandymount and our stay there recently. Avril and Robin are wonderful and hugely welcoming hosts who went far and away to make our stay memorable, they even helped with our wedding planning! Their house is lovely with a very classic finish to all the rooms, the breakfast was great and the location was perf... what people say » ect. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to anyone, and we will definately stay there again. We are looking forward to seeing Avril, Robin and their - The friendliness of Robin, Avril and her Grandson. They made us feel very welcome, found out where we could get an evening meal, suggested a better route for our onward journey and provided us with the most delicious homemade soda bread and granola. Would make a detour especially to stay there again.
