We loved the natural environment-the lush gardens and open spaces..We felt as if we had stepped into Heaven even before we found The Spa. The cycling tour gave us an in depth snapshot of Balinese Culture and the cooking class delighted us with the flavours of your cuisine.Our romantic dinner enabled us to celebrate our 40th wedding anniversary in grand style.Cake and flowers delivered to our room went beyond the call of duty!Now we are home we remember and share the essence of Maya Ubud Resort .
all reviews » We stayed in a private villa with plunge pool on the river side. It was absolutely amazing. Beautiful atmosphere, the setting was awesome. We love the place. The staff are wonderful and helpful and friendly. The food in all the areas we also loved. It was so very relaxing. When we can we will be back and friends have been told about this magical place. The Maya Resort has to the be the most incredible, beautiful and enjoyable hotel I have ever had the pleasure of staying in. I would recommend them to anyone and cannot wait to return and stay here again. the service and whole experience was excellent and absolutely faultless. The best food and massage I have ever experience! very very impressed!!. The hospitality of staff, well-trained, warm and friendly. The resort grounds are well-kept and really beautiful. A blown bulb in the bathroom was promptly replaced without my informing them. I like the yoga pavilion and the forest walk. Truly a great place to get away for some quiet relaxation. I also liked the hourly free shuttle to town. This was maybe the most wonderful place we've ever stayed in. Incredible resort with beautiful nature. We loved the yoga-pavillion. We liked the location (a bit away from Ubud) but that may not work for everyone. The spa was expensive but absolutely worth the money. Wonderful people as well. We loved how attentive and helpful the staff was even before we arrived. They communicated with us a few weeks to help us organize our activities and also ensured that I had gluten free meals available. During the stay, we really enjoyed how peaceful and beautiful the resort was. We stayed for 4 night. The resort is very close to Ubud town which make it convenient but quiet. Two swimming pool are too attractive and we spent almost all holiday time there. We also enjoyed walking alongside stream through valley. The food was excellent and the whole complex is just beautiful. The perfect spot to have a tranquil and relaxed spa holiday. The staff was very sweet and the spa by the river was ideal for a relaxing massage. We had an amazing stay. Everything was great. The only criticism- the view from The rooms was a bit disappointing. The breakfast wasn't up to the standard of the rest of the hotel. I was absolutely in heaven. Cannot wait to return back. This is a dream place. Tip: Book the pool villas or above, ask for villas with nice view before you go there. Very classy and luxurious, good amenities, stunning views and natural environment, friendly staff. Have a lot facilities, such as 2 swimming pools with terrific view, gym, tennis court and a free morning yoga class. The Spa units have nice view and looks very relax. A very relaxed and greenery environment. Location and feel of the resort / spa is very good. That we had to leave and go back to reality....work!!. We found sometimes the boy only refolded the used towel and put it back to chairs at swimming pool instead of replacement. See above. Little far from Ubud center (shuttles stopping at 5pm), relatively expensive. Could have had a wider selection of food on offer Meals very expensive compared to local restaurants, wine far too expensive in comparison. Quite expensive. Some confusion with the room rates due to rupiah currency exchange. expensive. The dinner buffet was really bad. Not even 1 dish we like, other than the Kecak dance. The location also quite far away from town about 10-15min driving. I got bed bug bites - still suffering !!! Also the lack of sun beds around the pool is a pain, if you don't get there by 8am you can forget having a lounge around the pool, people get them early in the morning but may only use them an hour or so per day and others don't get to use them - its terrible.
