Asked for a sea view room and got the most amazing view overlooking both pool and the beach - well worth the extra cost. Room is clean with a lovely big veranda. Loved the restaurant right on the beach, loved the pool right on the beach - only 10-15 minute walk from town [quicker along beach, but a small rocky outcrop to walk over]. Sea is reasonably safe to swim. Nice restaurants on beach in the same bay - can sit with a drink and watch the sunset. The perfect place for complete relaxation. Lo.
all reviews » The staff were all very accommodative, friendly, helpful and polite. The room was clean, cozy and comfortable. The hotel landscape and ambience were magnificent. Just spending time at the hotel alone was sufficient to make my day. The restaurant serves a good range of food from local Indonesian to Western and seafood. The food is very delicious yet reasonably priced. Breakfast comes in a choice of Indonesian or Western. The restaurant is very generous with its serving. Located just by the beach. We really liked this hotel!! It was our favourite hotel in our trip. The reasons are: 1. very comfortable room (room called Asoca) with a huge bathroom and direct access to the garden with a fantastic pool which is in front of a very very quiet beach. 2. We really liked the silence and peace of this place. Everybody was reading and you could only listen the sound of the see. 3. The food at the restaurant was good so we eated there the 2 days. 4. the staff is very friendly! 5. excellent wifi all. We had one of the three rooms at the back connected to it's own semi- private pool. An absolutely beautiful room, very spacious, lovely furniture and one step down off the terrace and you were in the pool. It couldn't have gotten much better. The food at the hotel is fantastic and the staff is even better. Thank you for making our stay at your hotel memorable. We will be back. Dick & Sandi - Canada. very quiet and relaxing place , we were there during the high seasons and we were almost alone on the beaches , The restaurant offer a great food but there is also 3-4 excellent restaurant just beside the hotel perfect for a romantic dinner on the beaches staff at the hotel were exceptional, all of them. Restaurant service was pretty slow. I waited 40 minutes for my toast bread and scrambled eggs. Even that, I was not given my cutlery, jam and butter. I asked the waiter for them. After some time waiting, the waiter still had not returned with what I asked for and so I had to go down to the bar to grab them by myself. Only if you want to be next to the tour agencies, restaurants and shops then this is not the perfect hotel for you although it is only 4-5 minutes by taxi from the center!. Everything was perfect. location is a little bit outside of the action (bar,restaurant,shop) are about a 15-20 minutes walk still an easy and safe walk. We where in the annexe over the road and they are constructing a second floor above,we where on first floor,so did experience some noise and where not informed about this.as we where out all day,this did not pose a problem. Too many flies at meal times in the restaurant. Should have coffee and tea facilities in the room. Egressive tour and taxi operators in the daytime outside the hotel who put pressure on you to except their services and even chase away other taxi drivers who are stopped along the road side. Sea was rough and not suitable for swimming. I was awoken a few times during the night to the sound of lizards behind the walls and in the air con unit!. Noisy motorbikes!. Now that airport has moved it was 1 1/2 drive from airport to hotel. Restaurant staff were serving food even though they were having a cold.Just to be sure, please keep sick staff in their beds to make sure they don't transfer anything. Quite a walk from the main town, but okay if you have a bike or motorcycle. The sheets smelled a bit disgusting. Slightly expensive, but worth. The hawkers on the beach hassling us to buy their goods. - not exactly cheap when compared to other options around Sengiggi but still worth it. Busy road. The hotel is at a (short) distance from central Senggigi where most restaurants can be found. One waiter in the restaurant asked whether I would be interested in girls. When I declined he proceeded by asking whether I would prefer boys!! I told him not to approach guests in such an inappropriate manner. Internet coverage in our Garden view room is quite weak, but at times it's quite ok as I can go online to chat with family members & friends. Sometimes I feel that the staffs in the restaurant serve foreign tourist more better than local tourist. The air con condensers for the standard rooms are placed in the covered corridor which makes the air con ineffective. Restaurant is more expensive than those nearby; emailed to request pick- up from ferry terminal, but never got a reply. Breakfast little bit poor. Nothing! It was lovely. Hope to return one day. The locals selling things when we were having our meals. Dino from Kotasi 3 Tour and Travel. I know he does not work for the hotel, but he solicits business from hotel guests. We found him to be dishonest in many ways. He lied about who our driver would be, what sights we would be able to see in the time allowed and we were told local guides at tourist attractions were free - not so. I don't think the hotel should allow him to talk to the guests. Wi-fi system very inconsistent (important for us) and they really need to do something about the beach hawkers who are much too intrusive. Breakfast with few options. They clen your room even you saying that is not to clean. The room in a different building after a road behind the building where are the pool and restaurant. NMot much but one think irked - the constant dropout of the TV connection. - Room was advertised as beach front which is a bit deceptive as the restaurant was in front of it but still had nice views of beach. The busy road. If you're room is on the other side, you always have to cross cross the road to go to the reception, pool, and breakfast area. Breakfast could have been a bit better,but was still ok. beach in front of hotel could be more clean. people do tend to harrass you to buy things from them if you are anywhere near the beach. Could have slippers in the rooms :). The number of hawkers that come straight up to the hotel and the huge amount of chlorine in the pool!. Standard room is across the road, not beside the beach. Maybe they mentioned it somewhere, but when they said "Garden view", I thought the room is along the beach just not facing it. Anyway, the room is good. Nothing. People trying to sell you souvenirs on the beach. About a 10 min walk from the main restaurants however this is a pleasant walk.
