I don't normally get up for the sunrise but it was to good to miss after a good nights sleep. The sunrise was truly spectacular on my last day with the mountain to the side it was memorable .We loved going upstairs in the mornings to sit there with good wi fi which made my g/f happy while I checked out the beach, also to be able to walk out the front with many good restaurants like the village and not bad massage.
all reviews » love everything about this hotel, location is the best for beach and street. choose from any good restaurant within a step or two from hotel. the staff are awesome, especially Wayan, who busted her backside to find our phone that we left behind after checking out! the rooms are clean and spacious, the new ones esp nice. Def value for money, brekky is great. this is my third time i have stayed there. Loved the hotel, the Deluxe room was very roomy, the beds were nice and soft, slept like a log. The hotel is well located in Sanur. Close to the fixed price shop, "Tootsies" and Massage places. I found it to far to walk to Hardy's Shopping Center, but just went there by Taxi. The staff we're very helpful. Also at breakfast if you don't like Bali coffee they will make you a pot of Nescafe. perfect location on the beach, this is the only spot were u can still swim when the tide is low. the ocean in front of the hotel has very little rock so it's easy to walk in. great location in the middle of the action (bar,restaurant,store,spa) but still very quiet... Customer services was exceptional. Our room was a twin share and was large and roomy - very comfortable for two. Comfy beds and very clean. Best part was being right on the beach. The beach is clean and lovely for swimming. Easy walking distance to good restaurants, shopping, spas etc. Fantastic location, great staff. Room had AC which was needed on the hot humid days and nights. Right on the beach, and it was a nice beach. Restaurant on site with free buffet breakfast. Staff was friendly and helpful. Staff were professional and friendly and we were given an upgrade which was most appreciated. We were able to hire bikes and rode everywhere. Beach isn't comfortable for swimming because of many seaweed and a little dirty water (spoiled with garbage). Hotel is very close to nice restaurants, bars and supermarket, Starbucks is 5 min walk. Shower was a bit tricky right in the middle of showering water pressure fade to nothing, lots mozzies. The only thing I could complain about was, that it took quite a while for the hot water to come through to have a shower, and no coffee and tea making facility, so I took my own kettle with me,so I could have my cuppa first thing in the morning. We stayed there in 2 differrents ocassions in 2 differents rooms. The premium rooms are very nice and big, the only downside to the standard room is the bathroom which are a little bit smaller. The only thing that was a bit of a pain was the shower...was a hand held one that didn't sit very well on the wall so had to put it in the bottom of the bath while you soaped...everything else was absolutely fine. Nothing really, the rooms could use a bit of an update, but for the location and price...I thought it was pretty nice. The rooms are quite outdated, but on the other hand you are mostly only staying in the room over night, right? What I dind't like was the restaurant there. I had some stomach problems after eating there, but you have plenty of other options nearby. Nasi goreng and mie goreng for breakfast is so so... But i like the sausage and the croissant... and you can refill the orange or guava juice. But, this hotel is very great. Like it so much :). No WIFI in rooms. staff at beach restaurant do not attend to clients at breakfast or dinner, they need to be called to bring coffee or tea instead of walking around the tables asking clients if they need more coffee, they appear not to want to serve anyone food at breakfast is ok, repetitive,dinner was very bad, ate only there one time. Chairs on terrace very uncomfortable. I can't fault the hotel it was good value. For me personally though the sea wasn't really swimmable as it was too shallow. Looked beautiful though. mosquito in room, no swim up bar. Paid for a dearer room, yet others who had paid less were upstairs closer to the beach and had a view. Next time will get the cheapest room. Need a bigger pool and a bar for clients to have a drink and meet each other. The lock on our door was not at all safe and very hard to lock and unlock. There is nothing that I did not like about the hotel. Hotel confirmed by email that they would pick us up at the airport and they didn't. They start sweeping the sidewalks at 6:00 a.m. (it would wake us up). Limited bar (beer only). the rooms were a little dark and the bathrooms were dated, even it the new wing the bathrooms really could do with an upgrade. Not enough sun loungers round pool 8 in total I think for the whole hotel!! Booked a bungalow but on arrival no vacancy. We did et upgraded to sea view delux and refunded some money but the room was right next too pool (loud) and could only see 10% view of sea. The room itself was very nice just not what we wanted. restaurant. The spa was not very private. The front desk disoragnisation and untideness lets down the Respati brand and image. no wi fi rooms no hand towels cheap towels. Too many grumpy European tourists, pool too small with too few lounge chairs. Nothing. not much to compain ; the hotel is very popular , so book on time . maybe they can install some extra routers so they have internet throughout whole hotel. The beds are hard. There is no WiFi in the rooms. Respati *needs* a air-conditioned Late Checkout Lounge for guests who are leaving after 12pm and are without a room. Yes - I'll return to Sanur. Perhaps even to Respati. All good. Prefer smaller hotel. Small pool . No room service. Reception lets them down in appearance, but it is nice when you get into the grounds. Needs a lick of paint & updating!. having to roll the luggage along the ground for some distance, but this was not too bad. Breakfasts Beach chairs very old and heavy. the pool are is quite small and needs more shade. trollys going past room every 5 minutes. Breakfast is not halal food. Breakfast. Hotel provided expired drinks in a minibar. My boyfriend was very sick because of it and the hotel management did nothing just saying "sorry". They should suggest smth like free spa, free 1 night stay what usually hotels with good service do. The breakfast wash't good enough, small choice of food. No hair dryer in the room while it was stated in the room description. Bathroom needs a bit renovation.
