Nice new hotel in good downtown location with many transportation options at doorstep. The room was lovely. There is an excellent spa with a magnificent view on the 15th floor with large pool, 2 glass saunas with sky high views and 2 whirlpools with different temperatures. The Breakfast is delicious and very varied. Staff is very helpful and friendly. Aircon quiet and efficient. I love everything about this hotel. The staffs were all well-trained and have the manner needed in hospitality business. The hotel was great. Nicest place to stay in makassar. No need to search for other place. This one is the best.
all reviews » - The swimming pool is excellent, although it takes the idea from Marina Bay Sand, but it is okay. - Junior Suit is huge room, enough for family with 3 kids, with modification on its bed. - KFC is a minute walk. Hotel quite new. Nice swimming pool. Staff very friendly (as most in Indonesia) Booked the junior suite. Really huge and nice. For Makasar price- performance good. room was huge. Very nice. Lots of windows and light. Bathroom was also quite spacious with large free standing tub. Buffet breakfast was quite good. This is a very good hotel, the best in Makassar. Very clean, nice rooms. I loved the 30 metre heated swimming pool. The sauna with glass walls and a wonderful view of the city. Rooms are adequately sized but there were not towels or hair dryers in the rooms but were available on loan from houskeeping. Housekeeping also have a handy supply of electrical. How do those tiny .3 mm ants get into new buildings and high floors so quickly?. - pool time is limited, only until 20:00 - crowded parking area. Only minor things like too less hangers in the bathroom. location was in an ugly industrial part of city so not inspired to leave the hotel. Nothing nearby in the way of shops or restaurants except for KFC. Makassar is not interesting city for tourists. In my opinion only for transit to the other beautiful places on the island. Fitness room was rather small but still enough because there weren't many guests using that facility. Some of the staff need to be aware of guest specially reception staff. The a la card food in the restaurant is of low quality and totally over prized. Waited for 45 minutes to get the soup served, than another 35 minutes for the main dish, which was a Pizza ! 80 minutes waiting time ! and that in a empty restaurant ! The beer costs 5.5 times more than in the shop 50 meters down the road. nothings. Breakfast totally local based. No intention to serve tourists with an international selection. In room massage service. The lady sent to me was 22 years old with 4 months experience. She did not know how to give a massage. Her only interest was attempting to entice me to agree to extra services. The spring bed is of low quality. Over all I like. The jacuzzi was wonderful but they should have included railings for getting into the tubs for safety's safe. There should be a clear sign that children should not be allowed into the jacuzzi as there is already a separate chldrens' pool. had a standard room which is quite small for 2A plus 1C. Somehow Hand towels where not available despite several requests. Room service to be improve. restaurant dinner. The drainage system in the all bathrooms of the group do not drain sufficiently, thus flooding occurs in the shower area. Also, if you book through letsbookhotel.com, beware as you may end up with no rooms if they are full. Happened to us and to another couple checking in. Took them over an hour to gather some rooms for us thus we ended up not getting rooms we booked i.e single beds instead of double beds. the breakfast buffet menu. Lobby pick up area is too small. ..price of the beverages.. Service was a bit lacking (in the pool bar and at the main desk asking to rent a car with a driver).
