I loved the tranquil traditional gardens with lovely arch ways and statues. It was an oasis in the middle of bussling streets. Staff went about their business quietly and were always friendly. The restaurant food was great too. Loved & looked forward to my traditional Balinese breakfast every morning. We really loved the feel of the Three Brothers- just the sort of place I want to stay when in Bali as very traditional, but also comfortable. It is right in the heart of Legian, but is like a little oasis as feels like it could be anywhere as very peaceful and beautiful grounds.

Whilst it has changed a bit- though note a few of the old bamboo huts in the grounds- I was delighted to see it has managed to stave off the development of ugly high rise hotels. Its a sanctuary in the madness of Southern Bali. The grounds are beautiful, rooms are private and the family suite was spacious with enormous beds, swimming pool clean and excellent, reasonably priced hotel, close to the beach and shops, helpful friendly staff, good breakfast included in the price. Green territory,clean swimming pool,good wi-fi in public zone,5 minute to the beach, close to everything- supermarket,bars,taxi,night life, but quite at night. Good staff, relaxing atmosphere in the hotel, cheap price. We loved the peace and tranquillity of the gardens, which was an escape from the Kuta madness. Wonderful pool, and Uti Uti restaurant was a nice place to hang out. The staff were excellent... friendly and helpful. Location was good, close to shopping and restaurants and not as hectic as Seminyak. Privacy of the villas is good, it is quiet within the complex. Gorgeous gardens and pool. Breakfast was good, staff were friendly. Laundry service was cheap and efficient. Transport arrangements easy. We loved the gardens and the room was exactly what we saw online. Loved the location walk to kuta or seminiack and minutes from beach. I liked that it was exactly as it looked on the website. Felt very safe there loved the pool area. They only positive about this place, were the grounds and cleaning staff who were all lovely, friendly and helpful. I would have liked ceiling fans in the room as I don't like using airconditioning if I can help it. nothing. Hard to find the reception when arriving late at night, not sign-posted well, it was positioned at the very back of the property. It would be nice to have coffee/tea facilities in the room. Few sun beds near the pool, small breakfast, many merchants on the territory,near the pool. Sometimes they come inside our house terrace to offer there goods. Notice: there's no hot water in the hotel ( we had deluxe house), they have only warm water which depends on the sunshining. Shower bases take a bit of getting used to, stones. In the upstairs family units alot of water splashes out of shower onto surrounding floor so you need to wipe it up so floor isn't slippery. Need to ask for extra towel to use as a bath mat. Also no tea, coffee making facilities in room. These things weren't major issues. Could use better lighting to read a book at night. Also an extra powerpoint for charging phones/ipads/camera/using hairdryer etc. (ie only had bedside lamp plug outlets). Could use a few more sun lounges by the pool. Didn't like that they had a bar pool that was not being used as one. Not enough Indonesian choices for breakfast. That the room didn't have any artwork on walls (very plain). None of it was a problem though, just an observation. No coffee or tea making facilities in room. wi-fi was only available at restuarant not through out the whole resort, but that was only a minor thing. Nothing really, all good. The territory of the hotel is open for everybody- sales woman came to our private territory. Poor breakfast, deluxe rooms have no hot water- only warm if the sun shines. Legian is very noisy with lots of sales men everywhere - you can't make a step on the streets or beach - you will hear everywhere "massage- massage,taxi- taxi...etc". We loved everything. The only thing i could find that some people might not like was the fridge either didn't work or didn't work well. It was so minor though it didn't concern me at all. Breakfast is very disappointing. This place is a nightmare, check in staff and rude and unhelpful. We booked a deluxe room with mossie net and outdoor bathroom...did not get either. For 80 us dollars per night this place is a dive. The room was dark and depressing, worst place I haveever stayed. Theey keep a monkey in a cage, who has nothing to do and no company. I am no monkey expert but she looks depressed and unwell... a reflection of her surroundings. So many better places to stay for less money in the same area.
