Ohana Hotel is small but do not be fooled by its size. It has nice comfortable rooms. The room that we got was huge...the bathroom was to die for. The area is quiet and the guests were all equally quiet so we had the best nights there. Peace and quiet.... We had our own tour guide so transportation was not a problem at all. I can only say that we got more than we paid for....great hotel....great people in Bali. So if you want a nice comfortable cheap place to stay...Ohana Hotel is your answer.
all reviews » We loved this place, the rooms are clean a spacious, the pool is a nice place to relax after a hot day. The food is brilliant value for money and good quality. Breakfast is provided every morning with a great range to choose from. But what makes this place special is the staff, you are not a room number but a friend. Thanks to all at Ohana (Dewiq, Santi, Gode, Gunter, Argos and everyone else). Lovely helpful staff, nice room, excellent AC, location only a 15mins from Kuta Square. Hotel only 18months old so nice and modern as in the Booking site photos, reasonable priced airport transfers 60,000rups, adequate breakfast. Good value for money. The staff was really friendly. When we arrived we got a welcome drink and a free update to a family room. The room was really big en clean and the bed was really comfortable. The breakfast was also fine. The location near the pool is relax. location is not so far from everywhere. based on the price (Rp355,000) we found the hotel is perfect. It is clean, Aircon is good, bed matrass is comfort, buffet breakfast over the pool is nice. It's really value for money... for my room there wasn't bathtub other than that there is everything. That was a great relief for my family. We booked two family rooms 301 & 501, both rooms were well appointed. close to the airport, i got in 2am so needed something close. Location not too bad. Staff and location. staffs are nice. Overall the room was clean and nice. Unfortunately the air-cond was broken down and it was so warm over the night. I tried to request for room change, but it was fully booked. If the air-cond works in normal condition, i believe the stay would be more pleasant. The location is good. 10 minutos walking to Kuta Beach and Legian Street. Thin wall between rooms but not a big prob. Outside area very small with the pool adjacent to the dining area which was a bit offputting if one wanted a swim during meal times. The pool was situated in the middle of 2 blocks so only received approx. an hour of full sun a day and so the pool water was very cold and in the shade most of the time. We thought is was a little bit far to walk to the beach or the main street (15-20 minutes). It would be great if hotel can provide more variety of breakfast :D. The aircon is not so cold. A mosquito able to came inside the room from outside. Water in the shower wasn't very hot but this was not a big issue. My room is close by the poolside and sometimes it gets a bit noisy at night. Less variety for the breakfast. Breakfast could have had more variety and a faster internet connection. Was nothing not to like. Breakfast wasnt bad, but could better. They attempted to get us in a for hire taxi instead of their shuttle to the airport. After we resisted they relented and took us to the airport by their complementary shuttle. Nothing. Plastic taste in electric kettle. Food was pretty average. In 4 am in the morning suddenly there was water falling fom the ceiling and don't know where it comes from cause isn't raining that night. Limited breakfast quantities and varieties. 1. The guide provided for my local tour was having zero knowledge. 2. He was driving too slow (less than 40km/hr) 3. Hotel provide very negligible help on my local tour. Restaurant was a disgrace, took over an hour from ordering food until it arrived even though we were the only guests in restaurant. asked for a quite room so they gave me POOLSIDE not quite in the morning, some noisey aircon fans coming from other rooms made rest pretty tough. Breakfast a bit lacking in variety. Very poor facilities. breakfast menu always same every morning. My room air condition was broken down and I tried to get the staff to change a room, however, it was fully booked. I was just like baked in oven for the whole night. If without this incident, I believe my stay would be more pleasant. Payment on arrival. We have to wait until 14:00 to check-in having free rooms. The decoration of the room is poor, the walls have old and dirty paper. Breakfast is disgusting. The bath is awful. They did not allow us to leave until our room was full checked to prove we had not stolen anything.
