Great location close to everything in Kuta and on the beach yet quiet and peaceful with those beautiful tropical gardens which are so well kept. Wonderful selection of restaurants all within walking distance but the Sands restaurant is one of our favourites. Great breakfast and Free WIFI. The staff were exceptionally friendly and service was five star. The gardens were beautifully maintained exuding tranquility and a relaxed ambience. An amazing experience for all of us. Outstanding breakfast spread every day.

After seeing a big insect in the first room, the staff changed our room to a more modern room. It was clean. Location was good to see the Kuta area. Rooms a bit tired particularly bathrooms but I understand that they will be closing in a few months for renovations so looking forward to the new Santika. Nothing we didn't like. The staff who is in charge of laundry thing knock the door too early and annoyed us a lot! Moreover, they do not give us the mineral water on the second day, and do clean the room roughly, maybe it is because we forget to put the tips on the table before we go out on the second day. Almost nothing.but the spa is needed more improve. - Food need to improve on the taste, various. Beach vendors still persists. a little bit old. The average beach quality. The accommodation is really showing it's age and in need of a face lift. Hence reason behind closing in September to be rebuilt. room is a bit old, need renovation. Hotel is being demolished in November which is a real loss. The electrical wiring/plug sockets were faulty and were not repaired despite making a request to reception. Check in slow. Comfort is really simple in rooms Far from city center by foot. First we had an old room. A big insect welcomed us when we enter the room. All in all the hotel is an old hotel. I think it is pricy considering what the hotel is offering. That they were closing down withion weeks and failed to provide the service I wqas paying for. The cost of staying should have been discounted because they were not providing the same service as advertised. There are so many other hotels that would've been better to go to but I went to this one because it was recommended by friends.

Important information to guests

Please note that the Sunset Beach Front Restaurant will be closed for renovation until November 2010. There will also be renovation on the Ocean Front Suite and Presidential Suite during this period. Work will be done from 9:00 to 17:00, daily. All efforts will be made to keep disturbances to a minimum. Access to the beach will not be interrupted.
