  The bungalows are located at the south-west side of the island, a five minute bike ride away from the restaurants and shops. On walking distance (around 200 meters) there's a quiet beach, but the more popular beach is at the south-east corner of the island. The bungalows are clean and there's a large garden. (The owner can - Such nice owners - couldn't have been more helpful! Nice bungalows Quiet location - private but only a short easy walk to the harbour on the eastern part of the island and also to the southern coast where you can watch the sunset. Lovely garden Drinking water provided - hot or chilled. They can also arrange snorkeling trips etc.

  Our stay was great there. The bungalow is located in a few walks front of the beach and great snorkeling area (which we manage to see a sea turtle and blue corals). The room was cleaned every day. The staff was very helpful and kind. The restaurant's food was satisfying (didn't cause any stomach disturbance like other restaurant we tried in gili a... what people say » ir) and they are kind to service us for any request. For example I would like to drink coconut which are not in the menu and they went and climb a coc - I had a bungalow which was about 50m walk to the beach, superb location on the island & the bungalows are really cute! The staff are what Star Bar & Bungalows, they are very friendly & also very helpful for any enquiries for things to do on the Gili Islands or Lombok. I recommend this accommodation, good value for money.

  We just loved Salabose Cottages, right at the beach on Gili Air. The location are among the best on the island with sunset in front of you (bungalow nr 1 has the best view) The charm here, except the view, are the people who work here. We spent 10 days and had much fun together with Amed, Dun, Burang, Billie and the other people in the staff. Its ... what people say » not the place to go if you look for top-of-the-line-service a la five star resort, but if you are a budgettraveller who like the personal touch, the l - The (large) cottage is right at the beach and everybody who was passing by, stopped and looked at our cottage (as it seemed to be the best on the whole island), some even took a picture. In the evening a lot of people came to see the sunset, but we were already there :-) The bathroom is large and you hardly notice the water is salty. There's also hot water. You really feel at home here and the sunsets are magnificent!
