We opted for the basic room no aircon or hot water, the staff is super friendly and accommodating. There are more fancy places on Gili Air, but it its a good clean room you are looking for this is the place, you don't need many facilities as the island surrounds is what you there for. Location is ok, but not the best. Overall its a nice place to stay. The staff, the pool, the location, the price, the grounds.

Great location. The pool. There are much better places to eat on the island, not to say the food is bad, just basic like the rest of the facilities. The staff didn't speak English that well. Limited choice regarding breakfast, can be better. room was fan only and did not cool until 2 AM. Very hard to sleep. There were not much to do in the island and other than the pool there were nothing to do in the hotel the breakfast was sooo poor, me and my spouse didn't like it at all. Coffee and orange juice for breakfast were bad. limited breakfast menu electricity dropped out poor coffee. The fan didn't work so well and we were in a room close to the generator. Gili Air has limited supply of electricity so they run generators during peak times as this is cheaper. Management did turn off the generator when we complained. breakfast very ordinary. No air-conditioning and fan was very average. Inside bungalows stains and cracks on the walls, no air condition, no fridge, no night lamps, embarrassingly weak breakfast, extremely overpriced, uncomfortable bed. you can't use the beach in front of the hotel. Staff were invisible. No hot water. Internet rubbish - never a connection. Breakfast menu - poor! Could not watch TV as channels were scrambled. No safety deposit boxes! Not enough sun loungers around the pool for amount of guests. We returned after breakfast to find two workman in our room, one measuring up our wardrobe???? And the other in our bathroom, floor flooded with water and the toilet in bits! ???? Hotel is too expensive for what we experienced. bad staff. The cleanliness. Hot water did not work 3 days out of 4 and the staff would not fix it. Poor value for the money (1M for the deluxe). not really clean,they just spray around a little bit,or much!!! no AC in the room,that wouldn't be so bad if they would have had a good fan.this fan was for nothing,so you gonna sweat a lot. no nice beach in the front.in fact to expensive for what it is.there are much nicer accos on gili air.don't book online.go right after your arriving and search then...so you can see what you've got.
