I loved our hut with an open bathroom situated in a coconut park, delicious pancakes with a lovely view on the beach and tranquility around the place. Perfect for a proper chill out. The staff was very eager to help and show treasures of the coral reef. It's a big YES! :). white deserted beaches beautiful sunsets excellent dinner cooked freshly very helpful staff especially Abu total relaxation and only 20 minutes walk to busier side of the island.

We decided to stay longer- we just could not leave that place!. the location was amazing, away from the busy side of the island, perfect for chillin' out. close to enough fabulous eating places and cocktails. The location could simply not be better. Right on the beach, on the sunset side of the island, in total tranquility and away from it all, yet only 20 min walk to the center of town. The nearest nice restaurant (Casa Mio) is only a 5 - 10 min walk. Lovely beach bar, with cool hang out cabins/platforms, cold beer and other drinks available. Bungalow was very nice, good bed, musquito nets provided, hammock in front. All in all ok ! I trust u can find better deals on Gili in low season by just showing up. very quiet place friendly staff clean room. location. Nice bungalows, close to the beach. Bike rental on site is availabl. Very quite and secluded location. Beautiful grounds. The quiet, having breakky in the hut on the beach, listen to the waves and birds. - nice that we sleep in a bungalow -. The kindness of the barkeeper and his efforts to help the tourists. nothing. swimming and snorkelling not so good this side of the island, not luxurious but very comfortable and visually stunning. Everything was nice. no fridge in the room on down side. The staff wasn't very welcoming - to put it mildly. Breakfast was officially available from 07.30, but they never actually made that, usually weren't even awake at that time... We gave up after 3 days and had our breakfasts at Casa Mio, were the staff was very hospitable and nice. .... Had better value for that price .... not hot water in a shower for standart bugalow far from other restaurants, but it's not problem. it was hard work to gain a smile from the staff. I travel extensively worldwide as well as Indonesia and this was the first time I had to make an effort to gain more than a grudging acceptance by staff. The beach is not too nice, a lot of sea weed and quite shallow. Too far... It's half a hour by walk from the small Harbour, where all the restaurants nad bars are, and at nighttime, there aren't any lights on the way....slightly unfortable and very dark!. - rooms were not clean when we arrived - the houskeeping came by one Day to clean the room but not another day. - the AC is not proper, takes all night to cool down. - staff does not know what they are doing, have the feeling they read in a book how to run a hotel. - we had to pay for wifi, but rest of the island is free wifi. the bungalows : nothing was clean ( bedlinnen !!!), poor sanitary; no airco. The kitchen where breakfast was prepared : dirty !!!. no internet for free, far away for the city center, very expensive considering the location and the prestations.
