To be honest I really like this hotel was nice staying there staff were amazining, we even went to Taj Mahal but my son is 3 years and half he did not like it he kept asking to go back to Taj Lands end he really like it and he had good time, special when he fell and hit his mouth on floor the staff come all over to our room asking how his doing and as well helped us calling Dr but he was ok thank God. I really enjoyed staying Taj.
all reviews » Upon arrival at the hotel to attend a conference, I was upgraded to a luxury suite which was awesome! Great view. My luggage arrived a day behind my arrival and when it did arrive, the handle was not working. The staff at the Taj Lands End were incredibly helpful to ease my stress and offered to have the baggage fixed the same day. I never considered staying at the Taj until now; 100% perfection. The view of the Arabian Sea from bedroom window was magnificent. The room really was 'luxury' class. The staff were extremely helpful & extended my checkout time to 6pm without extra charge. The Concierge was very helpful in doing web check-in for my next flight. The security checks on entry were very tight, but reassuring. Flowers in lobby were beautiful, ditto swimming pool & gardens. The Taj experience is about Indian hospitality at its best, with a pleasant warm welcome attitude displayed all through your visit. Located at a romantic spot within the town at Bandra's Land's end, the place has a luxurious ambience which is a class by itself. Choice of restaurants and the lounge with live music are add ons. SPA blind therapist was excellent... Hotel staff was really good.. Very much helping... My check in was early, still my room was ready and has soon has i walked in to the hotel they guide me the room and my passport forms was filled in my room. that impressed me a lot.. Excellent. From all staff members to the room size, cleanliness of rooms and hotel. Staff very pleasant and willing to help and advise anytime with a smile. Hotel in a different class. By far the best I've stayed in and I travel extensively through out the world. Eagerness of the staff to go that extra mile to bring a smile to your face (in our case our child's birthday was made special by a lady called Natasha who organized a special cake, toys & surprise visit to our room to celebrate our daughters birthday). This is a very 'grown up' hotel with a wow factor reception hall. Rooms were good. Staff very courteous. The Italian restaurant was excellent. It has an outdoor pool which is unusual, charming and atmospheric. Also v convenient for the airport. I liked the personal greeting on arrival at the hotel and was taken straight to my room to check-in. The facilities are superb and this hotel simply one of the best I have ever stayed in. Great restaurants and the pool area is very attractive. Gorgeous Hotel, Its really Luxury in Nice/Quite location close to Linking Road for shopping. Nice Lobby, Nice food, Nice Staff, Nice View. Don't forget to ask for a room with SEA LINK bridge view in high floor. Will enjoy it defiantly. location is the best.. peaceful, views of the sealink and ocean are awesome.. - space is a constraint in Mumbai so the open sea just draws you out.. - love the location and taj does ample justice.. staff Is great.. I had expected a [free] airport shuttle bus, but staff were swift in arranging local taxis or hotel car [which were not very expensive]. The front property now also Taj's shouuld be developed fast and linked to the present one. It is barren and an eyesore between the hotel and the vast expanse of the sea. At least a garden should be developed meanwhile. Cleans of Mumbai and hotels out side surroundings... It smells very bad. May be that's India :). No free wifi. At least if it is provided in the lobby level like some of the hotels I've stayed in china would be great. Staff managing Taj Hair saloon not up to the Taj standards of courtesy (we had an appointment made & just cause the hair dresser decide to take the day off they cancelled our appointment, worst of all they made no arrangements to let us know of cancellation & neither did they arrange for an alternate hair dresser when we had come at our appointment slot). Room service was rather slow. I liked everything about it!. Some People find this hotel quite far to Colaba district where most attraction there. For me I took taxi to Colaba through sea link by max 40min. Just to avoid staying in Colaba coz it far from the airport and always crowded. butler for the suite.. was a free upgrade but butler was not service oriented like the rest of the courteous staff.. The breakfast is not value for money. One would expect more authentic food particularly from a hotel such as Taj!. Apart from Seaview premises, the locality / neighbourhood is a little Nopromise situation. :). The wi-fi service is not free and it took several calls and a personal visit by the "wi-fi Butler" to just get logged on - a five star hotel charging 670 INR for surfing the Net is a bit cheap - it should be free for the money one pays for the room! Also the corridor stank of rancid oil spilled somewhere - but the staff corrected that promptly. Besides this nothing I didn't like. ..This place is worth every penny you pay for. nothing, it was all nice. Breakfast selection can be slightly improwed. The room had a lot of ants which put us completely off. Rather poor soundproofing, was woken up too early every morning by next door client taking his shower. people keep knocking at your door every half an hour asking if u need anything, after a point it got really annoying. TV's are still old fashioned, I would expect Taj to have LCD's if not LED's in these rooms. Only two restaurants in a 5 star property ?. did not find anything. internet VERY poor. At times it was so slow that it was impossible to do emails. nothing - would definately stay again. A different world lies outside the gates of the hotel, one that u can see from your window... The only area it's lacks , the service can be a little slow to react , which is not expected from the taj group, another aspect they could do something about , are the timings of the speciality restaurants , and also the menu of the main cafe could have more options. High prices. Charges are too high for extra. A glass of milk for baby is priced at 9 US Dollars. It is a day robbery. Can not be compared to the original Taj Palace and Tower. The Tal lands is just a luxury hotel. Noting more and nothing less. This time, had no choice because of time but Taj in Colaba is unique. nothing. Spa was a bit run down. Wi-Fi Not Free in whole Hotel although its 5 Star Hotel ?!!. Breakfast (quality of food). No dental kit was provided.
