The friendly manner in which we were recveived by the staff. House - keeping was excellent. Appreciated the chocolate that was left in our room daily, with clean water.....made us feel at home. Loved its locality. Walking distance to great shopping eating, attractions, local galleries, museums. Although a large hotel I was treated as a family member and the facilities were easy to use.

I was extremely disappointed that they charged me for an night that I did not stay as I had a family emergency and had to leave back to sa. They were not interested cos I paid upfront. I was upset at that. a bit expensive. The hotel is a bit run down for four stars. The bathroom is small and has no venting. I also was upset with checkout. The bill was presented in rupees and charged in dollars. I objected to it as the rate of exchange was much lower than the bank rate. After a bit of a fuss they accepted the charge in rupees. Just one night. I am not sure but some points...Staff not cordial or friendly - on your first entrance visit or otherwise. Wifi didnot work most of the time. TV was giving problem; informed but rectification did not come in time. Asked about the tour bus waiting outside....Do you arrange/, any suggestion?. Answer: you have to do it yourself. (fair enough).But no suggestions. BUT letsbookhotel.com did a good job for me.
