Great location on Marine Drive. I love that when you walk out of the door, the Arabian Sea is right in front of you.
Excellent value for money. The InterContinental hotel is a minute's walk down the road but its rates are multiples of what Bentley charges.
The breakfast of omelette, toast and chai is simple but satisfying.
Nice art on the walls, mainly hand-painted Indian miniatures and a few Japanese pieces.
The reception, corridors, furnishings etc. are clean and in good condition.

Mumbai is expensive so it would be hard to get a room of this standard
in this location for a better price. The staff are really friendly and
helpful. The beds are comfy with nice soft pillows. They have just
installed wifi to the rooms which worked well. Before wifi was in
reception only which was fine unless everyone was using it at the same
time. Breakfast is included - it's simple but adequate.
Fantastic location right on the waterfront and an easy walk to the beach and Colaba. Spotless, spacious, modern and very comfortable room - really comfy bed and pillows! Simple breakfast but nice to have included. Very nice staff. A great place to stay in Mumbai and I think it's good value for money in a large city where accommodation is more expensive than elsewhere in India.

I appreciate the respect shown to a single women and that my well-being was important to them. I did not feel ripped off either which if only the rest of India could follow suit it would make visiting the country a lot more pleasant to experience...
Good combination of clean, centrally located and cheap (for Indian standards). Breakfast at room served is good (toast, omelette, tea/coffee). WiFi only works at reception area, but that makes you meet the people there. Nice alternative to hostels.
The hotel is well located (in front to the sea), is calm, quiet and very comfortable. Internet was Ok, hot water, nice breakfast (in your room), Just four blocks from Churgate and walking distance from most hotspots in Mumbai.
The hotel is great value for money. It is a professinoally managed hotel. The location at Marine Drive is wonderful and is a great place for morning and evening walk. It is very close all business establishments in Mumbai.
For the money paid & considering the location right on Marine Drive Road, you cannot ask for anything better. Decent enough for short stays. Rooms were quite neat and clean plus the staff very friendly and considerate.

Helpful staff ( taxi service and directions ) Just keep in mind that there are monster traffic jam in Mumbai so whatever taxi drivers say simply multiplicate the time by 2, really!!.
It is a very good place to stay. The hotel staff are excellent and provide very good service. Enjoyed the stay and would definitely stay in the hotel during my future visits to Mumbai.

Reception was helpful when I arrived , all is new in reception
and couloirs , near beach , near gate India ; so yes you can go
for a few days.

The Wi-fi, which is free, only works in the reception area, not in the rooms. On the plus side, this means that when you go to check your emails you are likely to get into conversations with other guests.
The room size was pretty small but for the price we are not complaining.
It would be great if wifi was available in your room rather than just at reception, but it's a fast connection. It's a little hard to find as its on the corner of Marine Drive and D Road but the only small sign is on the D Road side of the building, at 3rd floor level. The building otherwise looks like an apartment building. But if you are taken to that corner you are in the right place.
There were moth balls in the room. Internet only in the lobby but it was
fast. Noisy because of some construction. Only one outlet.

soft beds, towels could definitely be renewed sometime, thin walls.
They can definitely do lot better to improve the hygiene in the bathroom. Would suggest to look at the quality of towels provided - though cleaned, they were very rough. Also, if they can have an inhouse kitchen, it will be lot more convenient for the guests. Being able to provide wifi in the rooms will help.

There is some problem with the toilet/ sanitary connection as foul smell starts emanating during the latter part of the day. This needs to be attended on priority.
For a hotel of this quality, it is a real pity that wi-fi is only
available in the lobby which is very small and often crowded. It is
mentioned on letsbookhotel.com but be aware that the lobby is not very comfy.
According receptionist it should be arranged soon though.
The hotel was quite hard to find as even many locals don't know the hotel is on the 3rd floor of the building! Maybe more signs & better directions on website would help!.

Price- value not good. Expected cleaner and better room for the price. Hotel was probably nice and modern a few years ago but due to lack of cleaning and maintenance, it lost its class. Summary: nice but too much money for what you get.
I had specifically asked for a double bed. Their answer to that was shoving two single beds together. My girlfriend and I spent half the night getting off and shoving the mattresses back into place.
Tried to sell me a larger and more expensive room than booked on my first stay, but did not insist on it, so all good in the end.

No Internet in the rooms...boo hoo me. That's about it.

I had to ask for towels , half an hour to get some water , small room ,
the price , the plafond of my room need refraich , the staff sleeping in
the kitchen , the water stayed in lavabo when I whashe hands ( but they
came to fix ).
Toilets are interlinked and occasionally back flushed sewerage to our toilet; not pleasant. Room had leak in ceiling that ran into wardrobe.
Rough towels and the fact there is no kitchen attached to the hotel.
Bath room/ toilet is outside of the room. It is inconvenient.
