Arriving here after travelling though Delhi & Agra was just what we needed. We arrived in quite late and the manager asked would we like a cold beer sent up to the room... after a rough journey from arga it was like he was reading our minds... We both confirmed (my partner and I) that it was the best nights sleep we got in india! The staff were very attentive and friendly & when I spoke with other tourists staying here they said the manager had went and got them antibiotics when his wi.
all reviews » Liked the staff, location and facilities. The staff were very helpful, assisted us in variety ways. Rooms were clean, shower worked nicely, quiet location. The same day after check-out we had a night train to Jaisalmer and hotel staff gave us a room to take a free shower that evening before going to train station. Thank you for pleasant time:). The family room was very spacious and had a queen size and king size bed, plus plenty of room for luggage and rambunctious children. The hotel staff was very gracious and kind with our young kids, and gave us excellent service. The food at the hotel was reasonably priced and delicious. Overall, a great experience and we would return. This hotel was very convenient for us. It had a big room, okay breakfast with a little variety, decent food, big rooms with a huge bed & a balcony. It was in a quiet location & basically easy to come & go & use as a base. The location was very convenient, the staff were cooperative specially with young kids having special needs. The receptionist was considerate and was sensitive to our requirements. The room was spacious, bathroom clean and air conditioning in the room. The food was yummy and the staff helpful. They let us check in ahead of time which was a relief. The room is the best during my budget trip in north India, especially a hot bath. I'm also impressed by the service. The Laxmi Palace is a house with different rooms. I liked it because it was clean, the staff was friendly, responsible and helpful. Wifi worked well and the hot shower was the best!. Location; quiet yet close enough to the tourist spots & centre of town. Peacocks in the trees at night. Food. Outside small patio. Their plans to build a rooftop restaurant. Not so noisy and 200 mts from the central bus station where we took the local tour. Spacious room, clean enough. Location is good. Nothing. There wasn't anything in particular. The only thing we would have appreciate is a clock in the room, and the wifi was all right, but not particularly fast or reliable. It was not super clean, although ok for India. The balcony furniture was dirty mainly. No safe, which is often the case in India, so we had to lock everything up to furniture. They had a lovely patch of lawn at their front garden, which I thought they should really put some tables & comfy chairs on for coffee, tea, relaxing. The breakfast spread could be a bit more elaborate. If I expect some thing more, it would be a view of the city or closer to the pink city. But of course, with this price I rated it excellent. Could not pay with credit card because there was something wrong with the POS. Other than that everything was great. dinner quality shows room for improvement. The inhouse restaurant prices are steep, as if it is a luxury hotel. WiFi connectivity is poor. Staff are not that helpful. The kitchen service and it's staff. no tea and coffee facilities . There is no bathtub though it is mentioned on website for Royal Suite.. They mentioned free transfer service but informed that drop service is paid... I think we didnt use their travel service for local site-seeing thats why they may have told so... I believe If you have enough time to surf and explore than you can find better option in same price.. I really like to be at Laxmi palace but I think they charge more money for the same... Well for the price I think I can get better in Jaipur. My room wasn¨t a big deal, neither were the facilities at the hotel. But it was nice enough!. A lot of the rooms (and so my room 302) have no windows so you have no clue what time it is when you wake up. Don't have space for our driver even when we are ready to pay for him so we recommend letsbookhotel.com not recommend this any more this hotel to further visitors or tourists. Everything.
