Аутентичный старый отель, просторные номера с высокими потолками. Все чисто, сантехника полностью исправна и выглядит новой. Цена несколько высоковата для Индии, но это того стоит. Есть смежные номера с общей дверью - очень удобно, если едете компанией. Один из номеров с просторным балконом. Расположение для нас оказалось очень удачным - на краю старого города. Хотя "старый город" здесь - это некоторая условность. Я имею ввиду, что он интересен не архитектурой, а кварталами, в которых кипит жиз.

The heritage ambiance, the hospitality of the whole staff, the Indian delicacies, the Lotus pool, where you can take a nice and refreshing swim, the ecofriendly details and finally the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in in India. Despite the heavy monsoon rains and the flooded streets in Ahmedabad the supportive staff organized a sightseeing trip to some of the highlights in and around the city. I will definitely choose this hotel for my next stay in Ahmedabad. A wonderful establishment, full of old world charm, tradition and ambience. Excellent smiling and helpful staff; very good electronic communication facilities; well maintained room infrastructure (the mattress was just right, not too soft or hard making for restful sleep!); prompt room serve. The three star rating is highly understated.. MG is my confirmed choice for future visits to the region. The hotel is in a beautiful and impressive house. The restaurants are great. No room is like the other. Mine (number 12) was big and very confortable. It had no window directly to the street, something that would prevent direct light but also avoid the noise. Lovely characterful building with interesting history. Comfortable, beautifully furnished room, attentive service, delicious food, nice to have a pool.It felt like a real sanctuary to come back to at end of each day. Loved the swing seat in our room!. The house deserves it. Walls quite thin so could hear tv of next door room late at night. Internet was playing up one day but staff very helpful in trying to restore connection. Nothing'. No business IT facility, eg access to printer. Staff, however, we're very helpful informally. somewhat noisy--generators or some mechanical sound until around midnight. Air conditioned to improve.
