We were very friendly and heartily welcome by the host at 1:30 am - even
we estimated our arrival at 0:45 am. It looks like a newly built house
with relatively large new modern rooms. We had a "Twin Room with
Shared Bathroom" (for 48 EUR/night) and the pictures on the
website do absolutely match with the location on-site. The room and also
the bathroom were clean and proper equipped. The breakfast was served as
buffet while it was still possible to get cookies, water, tea and coffee

The hosts are very accommodating to guests arriving late and leaving early as this guesthouse is near the airport. The owner is a retired carpenter who designed and built the interior of this very modern guesthouse. The breakfast and homemade treats available in the evening were top notch. Hard to believe we only spent $77 for the largest room and bed we had in Iceland, but I suspect we got such a good deal because we stayed during their first month of operation.
The innkeeper was very nice. We checked in very late and he was there to greet us and show us everything, room, bathrooms, kitchen. We only stayed overnight, but it was great to have such superb hospitality after a long flight and late. We also were able to take his suggestion to drive along southern sea coast on our way to Gullfoss, which was terrific! We wish we could have stayed and enjoyed hotel for more days. Breakfast was Excellent.
We were shifted to their 2nd guesthouse (Home GH) as Ace was full. Lucky us, even closer to the airport and we had the large house to ourselves. Loved it. The proprietor even sent her husband over with homemade banana bread. Excellent and plentiful food in the house for our breakfast. Lovely people and super location for an early morning flight. You won't find better!.
One of the nicest guesthouses I've ever stayed in. The host was unbelievably kind and accommodating. He built the house himself and has added quite a number of personal touches. It truly feels like you are staying in someone's home. The hot tub outside is a perfect way to end the day! I look forward to staying here on my next trip to Iceland.
Wonderful little guesthouse, extremely attentive and kind host! He gave us a tour of the house, dessert, arranged transfer to Airport, got up early after having stayed up late, great breakfast! It is very convenient to the Airport for early departures. We would love to stay here longer, perhaps as a starting point for further exploration!.
The main reason I booked was location as it was close to the airport and
our flight landed late. The owner was terrific, waiting up till 12pm (we
were delayed at the airport) without complaint, and full of helpful
advise the next morning. The place is spotless and you can see that the
owner takes pride in his orderly house.
The guest house owner was very kind and understood our very late arrival. He offered to let us grab a snack before bed and even allowed us to make sandwiches before we left for the day. The house was very clean and quiet. It is also very close to the airport - very convenient for late flights.
The owners were friendly! It was a very good experience, the house was clean with a design stuff. You have an hot pot on the terrasse, the breakfast was very good. Everything was perfect.
We came back for our last night in Iceland, it was the same. Really good, thanks to Doddi and his wife.
Room was spacious, bathroom was great, we had the best shower here over all of the other places we stayed in Iceland! There was a large selection of food left for us for breakfast. I'd highly recommend staying here. we had a car which was handy, don't know how handy it would be without a car.
Doddi the host was amazingly helpful and thoughtful and full of
information. Everywhere in the guest house you can see his beautiful
craftsmanship and building skills.
He went way out of his way to take me to a local artisans' cooperative run by women, and to drop me back at the airport.
You must certainly wanna stay at ACE Guesthouse. The house has been gorgeously decorated with taste and style, additionally everything is absolutely really clean. The owner is really welcomming and an excellent host. If you have to spend a night near KEF Airport, this is your place.
Owners of the guesthouse were great, the guesthouse looked wonderful. Everything was really excellent. They had cookies and coffee available all day, and they served great breakfast. Definately the best place we have stayed in in whole Iceland. Only a few minutes from the airport.
Very friendly owner, excellent rooms and great kitchen, hospitality, close to the airport Keflavik, it was a good stop for us arriving in the evening and heading in the morning to explore the country. Hot tub. OUr room was with individual toilet that we appreciated a lot.

Ivar and his son were very helpful and accomodating. They offered to pick us up from the airport and to the nearby Blue Lagoon and the reverse trip for a much-reduced price from cab fare. The sleeping arrangements were clean and perfect for our needs.
The owner is still up to welcome guests even after midnight.

There are only two shared bathrooms and five guest rooms (one of which has two large beds), so you might have a short wait if the place is fully booked.
