Firstly the manager that served us was awesome. Spoke very good english and very helpful. Room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The manager also gave very useful information about the sightseeing places in Tihany. The hotel also has provided very good bicycles for sightseeing at a reasonable price. Breakfast was also delicious and of good quality for the price. The price of the hotel is definitely worth it. Lastly the staff went the extra mile to serve us breakfast 30 minutes before the bre.
all reviews » We have been staying at Viktória twice already this summer. The location is very convenient, being between Balatonfüred and Tihany. This little hotel (only a few rooms available, the rest is privatly owned) used to be a company resort for many years, and is in a surprisingly good condition. Clean and spacious rooms, very friendly staff, nice breakfast - everything you need for a modest but high quality stay. Lake Balaton is close, nice and well kept beach (daily fee: HUF 700) at walking distanc. The staff was very nice, kind and polite. The room is excellent, the bed was comfortable, the bathroom was clean. The breakfast was fresh and good. The lake is only a few minutes far from the hotel. Excellent hospitality. We really enjoyed our stay. Thank you! We will come back. I can write only positive things about this hostel: the staff is very friendly and helpful, great location, 50 m from Balaton but still in a quiet street and the breakfast was rich. I was there by car with 5 friends and we all have the same opinion, highly recommended. Location is good! But you need car if you have children as restaurants and village is 40min walk.Is quiet nice area with big garden!Staff is good, and helpfull, breakfast also nice and really clean. The location of the hotel is marvelous, as you Balaton lake's grass beach is located in 2 minutes walk. There is a free entrance to the lake too, so you'd swim right before breakfast :-). There is a weak WiFi signal in the rooms, so the best option for the Internet browsing is to seat down in the hotel's hall, next to the reception desk. There was a spider in the room, and lots of insects on outside. Low WiFi range, it didn't work on our room, only in the pension lobby. Breakfast menu could be improved and some design changes in bathrooms would be an advantage. The bathroom was a little bit unconfortable. No air-condition, just small insufficient fans (38 degrees outside temperature when we stayed there). No Wi-Fi signal on the 2nd floor.
