Surprisingly modern. The bathroom was clean and functional. The basement breakfast room was very cheery. Even though our room fronted the street,there was a wooden blind that effectively shut out the street noise. Large and clean rooms, friendly and reliable front desk receptionist, good breakfast- asked for an omelet and was huuuge. Good location, wireless internet, inner parking, clean rooms, helpful staff.

In the vaulted cellar of the building there is a cosy restaurant/conference room for 50 persons. At this place also the substantial breakfast is served.

The hotel was opened in February 2002 in an old town house which was erected in 1883, four years after the flood of 1879.

A secured car park is available free of charge for our guests in the inner courtyard.

Important information to guests

Pets are not allowed in the hotel's restaurant. The car park has room for 11 cars. Reservation is not possible.

Information about the area

Many high quality concerts and other events take place in the old town of Szeged. In 2003 the beauty of the city centre was honoured with the Europa Nostra Award.
