This guesthouse is fantastic. Spacious and clean room, quite place, great location right accros Aquapolis plus 15 mins walking or 5 mins driving from the Szeged center, wifi works in rooms, big secured/private parking, english speaking staff, friendly host (thanks Zoltan). Guests of the Aquarius Vendeghaz have 15% discount in the restaurant next door. This is great place to stay and 10/10 value for money. Everytime we stay in Szeged we will stay in this guesthouse.
all reviews » We found the room to be clean and comfortable. The owners were very helpful. The secure parking was good. The location was an easy walk (about 15 minutes) over the river to the city. There was a pub nearby which served good meals and we had breakfast at the hotel across the road which was also good value. There is a separate kitchen which you can use. After a slow start the WiFi worked well. We liked everything, room was great, clean and comfortable, internet works perfectly and is really fast There is a public kitchen with fridge, coffee machine, microwave, hot plate, so you can cook, make breakfast.. Hosts are great, we will stay there again!. Aquarius have great location - just oposite Aquapolis, and few minutes from the center, but still on quiet location. Extremly clean! Rooms are big,bright, all new. Parcing space is available.The best accomodation in Segedin. Rooms are clean and furnished with style. Owners are friendly and helpful, you can just feel family atmosphere. Not to forget, safe parking space and the fact, it's across the street from Aquapolis :-). Renovated room with new bathroom. Air conditioning was extra but no windows to open. 3 flights of stairs and communal kitchen which you need to know you have to bring own food. Nice staff, very friendly. They don't offer breakfast but there is a small kitchen that you can use if you bring your own food. The Aquapolis pool and spa is right next door. Very polite and helpful staff, excellent location, walking distance to city center, restaurants, etc. Opposite to the thermal bath offers an excellent stay. It,s a very quiet acomodation.Best location a very nearest Aquapolis. 5 min walk to heart of Szeged. Zoltan is verry cosy and help to us for any questions. We were there at a very hot time of the year and without air-conditioning the room was very hot. However, by keeping the fan on all night we did get a reasonable sleep. Singurul inconvenient a fost faptul ca nu se poate servi micul dejun la pensiune, doar daca ti-l prepari singur (am avut acces la o bucatarie). Stairs with multiple bags. I would recommend depending on age group of traveler. I'd accept more than one towel... Booked a twin room, which came with a double bed + sofa bed (so uncomfortable that it couldn't be used). Pillows were really awful. Only 1 towel provided per person. We had asked for a car park, but on arrival were told there was no space, so had to park on the street. lack of facilities ( only 1 towel, no minifridge,a.c.only for extramoney,no balcony) , noise in the room due to a bathroom ventilator , room&bathroom designed for very tall people:) my opinion: too expensive and not a 3 stars hotel but a modest guest house. Very bad internet conection; Only hungarian tv station; No minibar; Not a place where to relax after a long work day;.
